Hotel was very close to the train station, which was convenient. We arrived before check-in so they held our bags for us until we returned. Staff was helpful and friendly. Free water (and maybe coffee?) in the lobby area was nice on a hot day. Only stayed one night, and the hotel was fine for our stay.

Typical of Japanese hotels, the bathroom was very small and tight, with no place to put anything. Carpet between beds was ripped and torn.

It was really close to station and a nice short walk to a castle and town too. It was clean, convenient, and had lovely, friendly, and helpful staff. There were a lot of cute souvenirs you could buy as well in the lobby. We only stayed one night so didn’t take advantage of all the things they offered but we were very happy with our stay. The rooms were bright and not too small :)

The breakfast was not free but inexpensive and worth paying: the atmosphere and food quality and service quality were so good. So far the best out of all the hotels equivalent priced ones I stayed in Japan for this time.

The lobby, room and hotel workers were very nice. But the bed was a bit hard and also I wish I was able to use a full or queen size not a twin. (They gave me 2 twin size bed room.)

Very near to station! And situated opposite a mall where there’s daiso and a supermarket so overall it’s a super convenient spot. The breakfast spread (Japanese breakfast set topped with buffet spread) was tasty and good value for money. The room was bigger than usual Japanese hotel sizes we saw in the past and comfortable space overall. View was good too

Great location almost next to Hikone Train Station. Breakfast was decent. Lots of great places to eat at around the corner. Even laundry facilities.

The faucet in the bathroom is so short that it's almost impossible to use without touching the sink.

The location was excellent. What made our stay exceptional was the Salon Bar Thistle. Shorji was the BEST Senior Tequila specialist in the world!!!

The recommendation of room selection is non-smoking room. I’m the type of people who cannot bear smoke smell any more. Room is very clean which makes me satisfied. If I could have a travel in Hikone again. I’m sure that I will book this hotel again!

A rather annoying shower head, that can’t be angled down nicely.
