Car park is cheap only ¥500/day in 7/7/2025. Close to Hikone station 3 minutes walk. Near the station, restaurants can be found. At the back, Aeon mall is accessible on foot.

Room is small than Toyoko inn Shin Takaoka but price is higher in Hikone. Breakfast dinning area layout is not acceptable as the coffee machine is located not near the canteen but placed in the reception area. Seats setting is too crowded and guests will bumped each other. Only 3 washing machine and 2 dryers are not enough for peak seasons.

The rooms are larger than average, and for a single night the amenities seemed to be as expected. The TV had a couple programs available in English as well. The shower was sufficiently hot for anyone.

The bed and pillows were both very hard. This may be perfect for some, but I prefer a softer bed. The complimentary breakfast was adequate but not special. Coffee was plentiful, but only drip coffee was available.

Great place to rest for 1-2 Days if you want to visit Hikone and other places around. Very friendly staff. Everything really clean. Great location 5 minutes by foot away from Hikone Station.

The rooms are small but not really a big problem. You can hear other guests because of the thin walls but its normally really quiet.

Very quiet, clean, and close to the station. I don't have any important complaint. Because Hikone is not a big touristic city, staff didn't speak English but were very attentive and used translator if needed.

As the city in general, very hard to access by walk because of the train railway. By the time I found out a straight way from the hotel to the station I had to leave. Also, it would be good that being a big hotel where 99% of guests are japanese, they had hot springs to relax. But for the price maybe is too much.

Modern hotel. Small but efficient room in economy class. No noise from neighboring rooms. Has a little work desk, good WiFi, and a fridge. Bed is okay. Clean room. Very near Hikone station. Friendly personnel at reception and in breakfast area.

Because it is located so near the station, rooms on the side toward the station are very noisy from somewhat before 6am if one sleeps with open window. Otherwise, one must be immune against the noise from the air condition through the night. Breakfast ends way too early: at 9am. The friendly personnel let me use the still operating coffee machine and gave me two bagels to toast, so I had a reasonable minimum to start the day with. Check-out at 10am is also rather early.

The location is near the station. Room size is quite spacious for Japanese standards. The breakfast is good and tasty, for this price level getting breakfast included is an absolute steal. They have coin laundry too. Amenities always available to self pick up at the lobby.

Nothing. This hotel exceeded my expectations.

I could easily located the whereabout of Toyoko Inn while getting out of the train station. There was careful design in how to maximize the use of space while not compromising comfort and ease of movement for two persons sharing a small room. For breakfast, the food was good. There was a fresh supply of food on the serving table.

It is located on the quiet side of Hikone Station -- no eateries nor convenience stores -- nearby.

Great breakfast included. Spacious bathroom compared to all the other places we have stayed. Pillows could be less hard but otherwise fine. All in all a great place to stay!

Couldn’t connect Netflix to tv.

Nice clean, relatively new room. Reception staff member was very helpful and handled the language barrier with ease. Good facilities like microwave and ice machine easy to find in the lobby. Great value and also included breakfast (can’t say what it was like because we missed it to catch our train).

Staff, very helpful and friendly. Pleasant to talk to. Room is good sized and comfortable. Free breakfast in the morning and there is good amount of food and selection. The eating space is also really good sized.
