Japanese breakfast was simple but very nice and is included for free. There were options of many onigiri, three or four soups, bread, juice, tea and coffee. The hotel was very close to the Maibara station so I could use the local train to reach Hikone, Nagahama and Omihachiman. Also the shinkansen stops there which is handy for ongoing travel. The room was quiet even though it was so close to the station. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was simple but nice and the staff were very friendly. Everything was in good condition and it was probably the best business hotel we've ever stayed in. Nice to have a car park on site, too.

Was surprised to have to pay 500 yen to use the car park. As for breakfast, it would have been nice to have some black tea, since I need caffeine in the morning but can't drink coffee, as well as some butter for the toast, but not a huge deal, either.

For a Business Hotel, it's great. It has everything you need. Staff are helpful. Stay included a nice breakfast. Conveniently located right next to the train station, which does local and shinkansen trains. Not necessarily a downside for the hotel itself, but Maibara itself doesn't have a lot going on. I essentially just used this place as a place to sleep and it was more than comfortable enough for that purpose.

I was doing the Biwaichi cycle, so this hotel was in a perfect location, right next to a cycle rental place and the cycle route. They also let me keep my bag there while I went on the cycle. It's also right next to the Maibara station,.so good connections for shinkansen to Kyoto/Osaka etc. I loved that the breakfast buffet was included. Nice clean room with a fridge and a decent sized bathroom compared to other business hotels.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was simple but was good enough. If there was butter or jam for the bread will be better.

The smallness of the bathroom. Bed to wall distance was rather narrow.

The check-in process was very easy. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I requested an extra pillow which allowed me to have a great sleep - thank you.

There were no issues this time. It was 100% better than the last time I stayed there.

the nearest konbini is a 4 min walk, would be nice if there was one closer. it would make life so much easier water also took a bit long to heat up

Location is just amazing. If you have JR pass, you can travel to Kyoto in 20 minutes.

Breakfast could have a few continental items for foreign travelers. It was very traditional on both the days.

The hotel is close to Mibara station, it is very convenince for us to travel to any place. In our case we had planed to go to Gransnow Okuibuki, we stayed at Toyoko hotel, then in the next morning we use shutter bus travelling to Gransnow. We had a very good time at Gransnow.

Opposite to Maibara station so very convenient, and walking distance to some restaurants and supermarkets

The beds and pillows were quite firm however this is a personal preference
