The owners of this hotel were beyond wonderful. We made a change to our itinerary so we could cool off at the beach, and we are so happy we did. The room was large, clean, and overlooked the ocean. The pool was spacious and deep enough for swimming or simply relaxing. We ordered dinner and breakfast, and everything tasted amazing. On our last day, the trains and buses were down because of a tsunami warning, so we were unable to leave. The owners allowed us to continue using the pool and gave us a room to use at no extra cost. Then, when we still could not find any kind of transportation to our next destination, the owner drove us an hour and a half to our next hotel. We would not have made it to our next destination that day otherwise. The owners of this hotel went above and beyond with their graciousness. My entire family would highly recommend a stay at this relaxing, beautiful beach hotel.

Everything is great! A little gem of a hotel with the best breakfast I’ve had in Japan on this trip. Owners are kind but you do need google translate. Up a hill so need to get a taxi or good walking shoes. Rooms have views to die for. Pool is lovely with sea view. Open self serve honor bar. Bathrobes and nice couch and chairs and table In each room. Relaxing and a special little town called ITO. Love ❤️ highly recommended!

Hard to communicate so have a good translate and need to call for taxi but super minor issues! Can order you food in if you want but have no restaurant.

We had an absolutely wonderful two-night stay at this hotel. Though it wasn’t fully booked, it had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. We truly appreciated the thoughtful upgrade and all the lovely details that enhanced our experience—from the various onsen options to the complimentary bar and excellent coffee. Our room was beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was exquisite—I slept better than I have in a long time! So far, this has been the best hotel we’ve stayed at in Japan, even compared to the big chains. If you’re visiting the region, this place is absolutely worth it!

my dear friends, the view from the window is gorgeous. I just wanted to sit in my room and not go anywhere. Floor-to-ceiling windows, a balcony and even the not sunny weather did not spoil the impressions. luxurious dinner in Japanese style. good breakfast - in the room! 👍😃 room so big. But, better have the car. Without car will dificalt. But you will sleep with ocean view and wake up with sunrise... very polite staff, always ready to help you. enjoy, dear friends

Price :) in Europe you can get the sea view but with less price )) Of course without ocean )) or maybe i am poor only )) The staff speaks poor English.

The view was amazing and we had the awesome pool all to ourselves. Yip it is 1.3km for the train station but so worth it so stay somewhere lovely, staff were amazing they even gave me free bday beers after some google translate chat. Breakfast was great, and having coffee and free drinks a nice touch One of our best stays in Japan!!

A lot of comments on location, so thought I’d put more detail in. The owners have very limited English. Easiest way to get there. Walk along the beach front to the pink house/fish shop. Walk up the alley behind the pink house for about 70 metres. At the sign marking 6.5m above sea level turn left, walk another 70 m up and alley (that looks like a narrow road). You get to a house with a garage underneath and if you look left again there is a smalll concrete path leading up to a flight of metal stairs

We stayed 2 nights and wish it could have been longer. This is a really well run little hotel with an amazing ocean view. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. We chose the half board option and were not disappointed. The dinners were a delicious array of fresh local seafood. The pool and onsen are great bonuses. There is a path which leads to the beach and takes just 5 minutes. Take the train from Atami to Usami and then it’s a short taxi ride to the hotel.

The staff was so helpful! Thank you so much! I was in low season and it looked like I was the only guest that time and I got an even better room than booked. The sea view from the window and balcony was perfect! I just enjoyed it. My room was so spacious and really big in comparison with regular ones. The furniture was comfortable and in general, the room was clean and with plenty of useful facilities. Breakfast was served in the room and it was a tasty home-like traditional Japanese breakfast.

The location is not the best if you are traveling without a car.

Views from the hotel were gorgeous. And the gentleman - whom I believe was the owner - was very kind and welcoming. We arrived quite late due to delays in travel, but he was incredibly understanding when we called in advance notifying them of this, which was a relief. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast, which they serve in your room, was delicious too. We also liked the free softdrinks/coffee section.

The hotel is off a winding mountain road which can have a decent amount of fast traffic depending on the time of day. Parking is available but can be a challenge if your car is on the big side. When we arrived there were no slots available in front of the property or the steep alley/hill running down to it, so the owner told us we could park on the "flat bit" off the side of the main road. That actually made it easier for us.

Blown away by the size of the room and the astounding views from the room. I can only compare it to one of the high end suites you find for 5x the price of a regular room. Definitely will be staying here again in the future. Breakfast was one of the best hotel inclusive breakfasts I've had in Japan. The staff went above and beyond to provide assistance with anything needed and even dropped me off at the train station after my stay. The beds were super comfortable too!

Finding it was a little hard, especially with googlemaps sending me to the wrong spot but it's my own fault for not accepting their offer to pick me up from the train station or taking a taxi. İt is one hell of a hike to get to, especially if you have 20kg luggage that you have to carry in your arms while traversing the mountain. But once again, it's my own fault, nothing to blame on the hotel. There can be quite a lot of sound that reverberates from the lobby but a simple towel under the door fixes that issue.

The view, wow, panoramic views of the sea, unbelievable...!! The room was big, bright, and comfy. I can't fault it at all... The facilities amazing, staff great. Free drinks included, was a dream.

Having to Leave... At a stretch, the climb up to the hotel is a little challenging, be aware, it's not in a busy area, we came here to relax...
