It was my first time staying at a Ryokan and it was definitely worth experiencing. I didn't get food as I was only in Ito for a short amount of time but I made the most of the baths and would recommend them they are very relaxing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a public room for relaxing on the second floor with free drinks, manga, newspapers etc which was really nice after using the baths. The location is great, a short walk from Ito station but quiet streets so relaxing.

Nothing really. It was a little pricey given the no meals option I went for but I did book it somewhat last minute so probably to be expected.

Everything in this hotel is very traditional. Loved that there is an in-house onsen facility. The staff, despite language barrier, were very helpful.

Not a bad thing but something to be wary of, everything in this hotel is Japanese, including the name. Took me sometime to locate it. Also, everyone speaks Japanese so, tricky and fun at the same time to ask anything or figure things out.

Staff is very helpful even we check in very late in the night and the hot spring is super nice, it's warm and confortable, there is a certificate on the wall saying it's a natural hot spring. It's quite and the bed is confortable.

the breakfast is nice, but the main fish dish didn't change for the 3 days we stayed, a bit more variaty would be nice

Excellent onsen on 4th floor and amazing Japanese style rooms. The staff is very kind and breakfast to the room is amazing.

Breakfast was brought to the room by staff and was excellent. Location was convenient with only a slight walk to train station and close to many restaurants. Staff were very helpful and respectful. Onsen was great.

Our room had some issues, but we were given a better room without asking. Also food preferences were respected. Very happy with the choice!

I wanted to wear yukata but the front staff handed us the jinbei which is not very comfortable or cute. They had many colorful yukata which were seemingly available so I was disappointed we couldn't wear them.
