Location, neat and clean room.

Only one lift. Staff had difficulty communicating on how the affiliated parking works. We ended up spending more than 30 minutes trying to understand each other using Google translate. We had also messaged the hotel in advance (the first was 4 months in advance)of our trip to check on the address of the affiliated parking spot but received no responses despite repeated reminders. Took us a lot of detective work to find out the location of the parking spot!

The hotel was centrally located in Tenmonkan, making it easy to access shops and restaurants in the city centre. It is also easy to get to from the JR Kagoshima-chuo station id taking the Shinkansen, being only a short tram ride away. The staff were also very helpful when I had queries about luggage forwarding, going above and beyond to answer my query despite language difficulties. The facilities and amenities are also very thoughtful, even providing bath salts and a speaker that can play calming sounds to help you sleep at night. Will stay again!

My room was on a lower floor and faced the tram tracks, so traffic sounds could be heard. However, it did not disturb my sleep.

The place is small and the roof is low but its kinda comfy and there is big tv, big bed. And the free bath salts with various salts and seasoning, such as german rock, pink himalayian salt, and epsom salt for fatigue body feels great. I can feel my exhaustion dissipate and the lavender added helped ease my mind with its floral essence . Oh and the usb port was awesome to charge my phone and my switch and my head phones all at the same time.

Its kinda cramped and there is only 1 elevator. Lol but what can you do about space? They make up for it with a higher value, bigger bed, lower cost, better location..

Overall very happy with value and location. Large beds in the family room. Amenities could be picked up in the lobby, such as razors, bath salts etc.

The breakfast was in the building next door. It may have been due to not many guests were in the breakfast area, that the selection was varied, but amount of food of each type was perhaps less than expected. But it prevents food loss, I guess.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. I had my bike with me and the staff allowed me to store it in the lobby since it was small enough to fit and also without putting it in a rinko bag. I would imagine that they wouldn't do it for every guest's bike, so thank goodness mine was small enough. Of course, I also made sure it was clean before bringing it in first. Location was very convenient and central, though busy.

As others have mentioned, the single elevator did cause a bit of a wait especially during busier times. It also would have been nice to have the option for breakfast for convenience, but I was totally fine without.

Perfect location to explore Temmonkandori 15-20 minutes walk from the Kangoshima chuo station. Right across the tramp and bus stops. Near shops, restaurants, malls, bars, and so on. The class-Modern interior is amazing especially the lobby. Complementary drinks, toiletries and salt baths are beyond awesome. The smoking area was clean and you sat comfortably. Traveler friendly hotel you can leave your laugage for free. Kudos to the Lady receptionist who helped me with the bus schedule and convenient way to our destination.

The staff was so kind and always available to help. They became my tour guides and suggested many restaurants and shops to visit. The hotel is in a perfect location, close to many restaurants, shops, a supermarket, a bus stop to the airport, a ferry terminal, an aquarium, and the main road of the city. It was very convenient and made it easy to get anywhere

Super centrally located in Tenmonkan. Easy to get to any location from the hotel either by tram, bus, or walking. Rooms were comfortable. Awesome view of sakurajima from the rooms.

Bathrooms and rooms were a bit small. It was a tight side step between the wall and first bed to get to the inner bed.

Staff were very helpful, upgraded us to a better room with a view of smokin Sakurajima when they were not as busy. Modern and fresh hotel. Convenient shopping & transit area. Best brekkie with a great cook and host. Highly recommended.

A few more English signs/explanations would be a plus, rather than google translate, but minor overall really.

The hotel is in a great location. Restaurants, ferries and the historic parts can easily be reached. Amenities, Luggage Storage, Bathing Salt and the Room itself were very nice. The staff tried to help as good as possible. They offered help when choosing the salt and were easy to approach when we had a question regarding our further travel and extending the stay.

Communication in English can be difficult sometimes but the staff tries their best to help.
