The two male staff members were great. They were helpful and friendly. One female staff member who brought a paper for us to fill out at check in was not. The air conditioning worked well which was great as it is hot in July. The bathroom was very new and everything was clean. The hotel is easy to find and it is in a great location. Though the room was not large at all, the high ceilings made it seem more spacious.

The room was so cluttered. Like others have written, there are simply too many decorations/ornaments in the room. The room isn't large and the decorations/ornaments take up a lot of space that guests could use to put their luggage. Unfortunately, the shell bedside lamp did not work and the wifi did not work well.

Uniquely decorated property made the perfect stay for my friend's birthday trip. The gift shop has a great selection of items. The staff were incredibly friendly and the in-house restaurant was delicious. Beds were very comfy, bathroom was clean, and a very short walk from a Yuigahama beach, the famous Enoden Train, and popular places like Enoshima/ Kamakura. Lots of other good cafes and restaurants in the area and the Japanese included breakfast was delicious.

The walls were thin and the outdoor lights could be seen from inside the rooms. For that reason I would hesitate if I was a light sleeper (I'm not, so this didn't bother me at all). The wifi needs to reconnect every hour and that was a little troublesome. The western included breakfast option isn't the greatest so I recommend the Japanese option which was just right.

Since the weather was not good, we couldn't fully appreciate our stay. We hired a taxi to see some shrines and Budda. Kamakura/Haas was a welcome change from the crowded conditions of Tokyo. Wish we could have stayed longer. Although the cottage sent immediate confirmation after I said arrival around 11am, they were not ready for us. Owner provided us with a warm place to sit and dry out while he got the room ready. The younger man in the gift shop was very pleasant and helpful.

Kitchen area very cramped. Not much room for eating. Too many decorations. Did not have any information about breakfast, but we loved the ebi furia prawns for dinner.

The ambiance was really fun and the staff was very friendly. You were able to be in Okinawa without going there.

The beds could've been more comfortable and I wish there were curtains or blinds. The window coverings were fun but when it came to sleeping it wasn't as restful.

This is a super cute hotel within walking distance of the beach. It would make a sweet romantic place for a younger couple. It is decorated with seashells and beach decor and there is a recording of the birds of Kamakura playing during the daytime. We had breakfast and lunch there. They had several vegan options and all of us enjoyed our meals. It was very close to the Enoden line and saved me hundreds of dollars versus staying downtown. It was easy for English speakers.

It's a converted retail space so it's not originally designed as a hotel. It works fine though. It is more like a B & B as a small family-run spot.

The staff was excellent and even upgraded our room because they had a room available at no extra cost! Super friendly, the location is less than ten minutes from Kotoku-In and five minutes from the ocean 😍 One warning is that you can't leave before 8am to keep noise down for everyone staying (not a problem for us) since the rooms are in a little complex, but honestly it wasn't an issue. The little courtyard is adorable and has two restaurants and a snack shop just steps from your room!

We had two very pleasent days at this very colourful designed location, just next to the great buddha, Hase-Dera temple and just 3 minutes to the beach. The hotel has a quiet space inside , you can sit and enjoy drinks and food. The rooms are clean and have enough space, the beds where a bit small but comfortable.

Wanted to be close to the Daibutsu and Hasedera temples, so chose this hotel. It's also only a few steps away from the Hase station. The room was clean with all necessary conveniences. We were allowed to keep our luggage for free before checking in.

Slightly expensive, but seems par for the area. Had a little bit of trouble finding the entrance, but then we did arrive quite early in the morning.

It is so funky and beautiful! Close to railway station, beach & good food too.

Dining room entry only if you order food. It was the only aircon place to hang out apart from your room.
