Villa Kamakura offers a cozy and comfortable atmosphere, providing essential amenities for both short and extended stays. Additionally, it boasts a range of premium amenities that are not commonly found in other accommodations. Located conveniently near Yuigahama Beach and a mere five-minute walk from Hase Train Station, Villa Kamakura is an ideal choice for exploring the Kamakura area. Toshi, is a wonderful host keeping in touch frequently and giving the best suggestions and support.

The only less positive aspect is the noise coming from the apartment above, that lasts until late night and over midnight, but apart from that, it’s a wonderful place.

Top location by the beach. The room has a beautiful ocean view from the big window. A short walk ftom the Enoden station (Hase) - easy walk to the Great Buddha, Hase Temple, etc. Just around the corner is a convenience store (Lawson). The apartment is tastefully and beautifully decorated (with a mini Japanese garden on the balcony), and supplied with everything one could think of - various amenities, the kitchen, umbrellas, backpacks you can borrow, etc.

There was nowhere to put our clothes - we were a family of 4 with 4 big suitcases, and it was hard to get our stuff constantly from the suitcases out and back. No closet or shelves for T-shirts etc (the back room had a hanger rack but the room is too small for 4 people trying to sort stuff). Would have helped also to have hooks for the coats (they all went on the backs of chairs - there was so much stuff by the hangers and we couldn‘t reach well).

Toshi was the most delightful host, from the moment I booked he contacted me via email to provide me with all the information and advice I could possibly need. Everything was truly perfect and Toshi took incredible care of every little detail of our stay. Villa Kamakura was the most beautiful place we stayed during our entire trip to Japan, it had everything we could wish for and more, I couldn't have asked for anything better. The only thing I regret is that we only stayed one night, we wish we could have stayed longer! If we return to Japan, we will definitely would stay here again! Thank you so much Toshi-san!

Wonderful location, amenities, and view. The apartment has everything you could possibly want and need. The view to the ocean is wonderful, and it is a 5-minute walk to the nearest station. Toshi sends you a VERY detailed instruction sheet in English with pictures to help you locate remotes for AC, laundry, everything!! There is a wonderful French bakery just around the corner that was handy to pick up croissants and breads. Walking around Kamakura was easy and there are some exquisite temples and shrines nearby. We visited the Hase Kanon (Hydrangea Temple) in the rain and it was an easy walk to get there and my favorite thing I have done in Japan. We walked to the shopping street and then walked back and went to Jufukuji (HIGHLY RECOMMEND) and it was peaceful, serene and we had the whole place to ourselves. Walk around and you will come to a bamboo forest with no one else there! We went to the Giant Buddha and Enoshima Island. We had some wonderful meals and were able to do all our laundry (everything is already there - no need to bring detergent, etc ). We loved the umbrellas left there (a beautiful Japanese design which made for some lovely pictures) and if the weather had been nicer, we would have used the amazing backpacks Toshi had ready with mosquito repellent, water bottles, camp chairs and cups! Toshi is always quick to respond and lovely to work with. I couldn't recommend this spot more!

Incredible location. You are very close to the closest station, which is one stop from Kamakura station. Due to the level of tourism though, we were very happy that it was far enough from the station (5 mins more or less) that we didn't have to deal with the crowd. 1 min from the beach, 1 min from the convenience store. Plenty of restaurants and temples nearby, beautiful room that had everything we could have possibly needed, and amazingly helpful staff.

Nothing, it was perfect.

Its a very nice one bedroom apartment for two ( maybe three max). Everything there, dishes, towels, washing/dryer combi!!! Can recommend also for longer stays! Bathroom has a Japanese mini bath tube, highly recommended

Lots of gatchets like water heater/cooler who would trun on in the night is super unnecessary ( took time to figure out how to turn it off), the neighbors can be heard

Host kept in touch with us throughout our booking, and everyday after we checked in, updating us on the weather and what to take note of. He even sent a guide on places to see, and restaurants to try, making our itinerary planning much easier. He also accommodated my request for additional pillows.

Socket in the bathroom trips frequently, so we couldn't use the hairdryer inside.

This is such a beautiful apt in great location near the ocean and near Hase station and many shops. The apt is very clean and well laid out with kitchenette and dining table and furo (deep) bathtub. Very comfortable .. if the noise from 3rd floor is controlled.

Noise: For our 2d stay at the Villa we chose 2d floor apt again for 3 nights. Unfortunately Apt on 3rd floor had a noisy party 1 night and stomping noisy babies another night. The very nice owner is aware of the need to better screen 3rd floor renters in future.

The room was big and had every single amenity you could possibly ask for including a Dyson hair dryer and curling iron which was amazing for me. The owner was very quick to answer and questions and even let us into the room early as we had quite a long travel day. Beautiful view as well

There were a few stairs to pull suitcases up

Not much space to dry off the beach items as well as the washing up
