Definitely a resort in that the view from the room was beautiful. The establishment is hands off so check in is by yourself and you won't even see any staff, but they are there. I love the selection of premium shampoo they let you try. about a 10 min straight walk from hamasaki station

Sadly no elevator and I was put on the 4th floor so getting up and down to do things were a chore...but the negative was overwritten by the fact that I didn't share the floor with anyone else so super peaceful!

Directly at the beach in a silent neighbourhood. Not far from the train station, but no sound from there is heard. Self check in with the tablet is great and fast. May be difficult if one is not used to using these devices though.

A bit old fashioned. The pictures make it look brand new/renovated which it isn’t. There is no elevator, so luggage might be heavy. For people with issues walking or climbing stairs impossible to stay there as ground level is entirely parking lot.

Basic and clean hotel providing everything you need in a basic room. Fridge, teapot, microwave, bath tub and a separate toilet. Self check-in ao there is nobody at the reception but I was always able to find help when needed from the general personnel. There is a washing machine you can use free of charge whenever you want, this was a huge help!

I was staying alone so it didn’t matter, but there is a huge window straight from the shower to the sleeping area. There are blinds, but you can still see through. Bonus side was that you watch the sea from the bath tub.

The hotel is located directly at the beach. Close to the beautiful sea side pine forest stretching all the way to Karatsu center. I had a room with sea view. And a seating area. Featuring a fully fledged Japanese bathroom (toilet separated). Including huge brand new bath tub. Both fridge and kettle were available within the room. But deep freezer and a complete kitchen with gas stove were also provided in the common areas. Washing machines were free of charge. There was automated check-in but a friendly young woman was around making sure everyone found the right room. Ample parking was available on site.

The hotel has previously seen other purposes. It is not brand new but the rooms have been refurbished and modernized. Bathrooms are huge and rooms are spacious. Floors are tiled and feel sometimes cold. But heating works well. Rooms are well priced, especially for this expensive area.

The location was close to the beach and train station and we could walk to restaurants and a convenience store . The beach had shower facilities and shade from pine trees . The staff were helpful and efficient . We used the kitchen facilities and the washing machine both are great when you are travelling .

The check in is 4 pm , when you are travelling this is very late , maybe they could be flexible with this if they know in advance .

I stay for 3 nights. The location is the most appealing feature from this hotel. It took only 5 minutes to the nearest station. After you arrive in Hamasaki Station, you have to cross the bridge to take the other exit gate and just walk straight toward the beach area. You can see the detail on the map. The other interesting feature is the view and the interior. I took the sea view and the view is magnificent. The room is spacious, the wifi works OK, the bathtub is superb (I have a special bathtub with window, so I can directly see the sea while taking a bath) This hotel is recommended for you who want to have a little sweet escape from the city

It took almost 2 hours from the city centre. So coming to the city for working and staying in the hotel is avoidable

I was about to check out on 29th Aug but was caught with a typhoon due to which all public transport was suspended. I had to extend my stay. The stay was as comfortable as my previous days of stay. It is privileged that there is a 7-11 convenience store very close to the hotel. The hotel was a good harbour for me during the uncertain situation outside.

We had never stayed in a hotel without reception desk before, this was the first time. The instructions and self check in was REALLY easy here and the room was a great apartment with excellent bath room and big bed. There is a communal room with washing machines, vending machines, and a cooking area ith pots and pans. It is a very comfortable place that is overlooking right onto the beach front so its possible to go for a walk on the beach. Perfect for car travellers with a big car park and feels very safe. Would recommend to any traveller who wants to be away from the city but still only an hour drive or train ride from Fukuoka. We stayed there the night before returning our hired car and it was a quick drive in.

Nice location along beach. Rooms were dated but clean, and they were relatively large. Our rooms overlooked the beautiful bay. Self check-in went smoothly.

Air conditioning did not work well. No top sheets on beds which would have been ok if room could be cooled more. No seating or other amenities on rooftop terrace.

The hotel is very well-located. Not only very close to the beach, but also close the train station and the 7-11 convenience store. I enjoyed the big room and the common area with full of facilities (bathtub, public washing machines, vending machine, etc.) that makes my stay very comfortable.
