The owners were friendly and welcomed me with a smile. The room was nice with good length bed. If the pillow wasn't to your liking you can try a different type. Shower room was good. Breakfast included as well. A simple and nice breakfast to start the day. If you needed amenities or anything you could buy it from the guest house at reasonable pricing. Overall great experience.

This isn't the fault of the guest house itself. The guest house is a few blocks from the train station. Itoshima is roughly an hour from hakata, so if you plan to transit to other towns or cities from here while staying at this accommodation, keep that in mind. I would still recommend it regardless of this fact.

The staff was very kind and helpful. It is conveniently located close to the Chikuzen-Maebaru station. I think, the best part of this accommodation is the price. I would definitely stay here again next time.

There were charges, even if quite small, for coffee, pillows (the one they provide by default was not comfortable), and other important amenities. The wifi was not working properly sometimes, and the toilet bidet had some issues. There was only one male toilet which made it difficult from time to time. But I guess one could expect this from a cheap price.

It is a beautifully equipped guesthouse with lovely hosts. The location is convenient from the local train station and exploring the area generally. The room was very comfortable as well :) Will definitely come back here if I stay in Itoshima again

There is a family room in the property so you can hear children being loud which was sometimes disruptive.

Extremely good value for the price. We stayed in the private room for a couple of days and it was very spacey and comfortable. If you visit Itoshima this is a good place to stay because it's close to the train and bus station and located to several good restaurants.

The room gets pretty bright in the morning and theres no way to darken the top windows. Also the walls and doors are not sound proof. If you're late sleeper you will be woken up by the noise of the staff members and other guests in the hallway.

It was a dormitory and I was worrying about the noise. But it was very quiet at night and lights were turned off by the staff at 11pm, which was nice. I was able to sleep well. The location is walkable from the station. Neighborhood is quiet. There was a map showing shops and restaurants nearby at the guesthouse. The owner kindly told us a vegetarian dinner option (an udon restaurant which opens till late, just 5min walk from the guesthouse). Luggage storage after checkout was also possible.

The owners are really nice, and it is a very comfortable place. If you stay in a shared room, you will have your own compartment, so you don't have to worry about privacy. If you want to eat something, you can buy some snacks in the guesthouse or go to the convenience stores or restaurants around. Also, you can rent a bike in the guesthouse (100 yens per hour) to go to the beach or somewhere else. I recommend using a bike because the taxis are too expensive and there seemed to be only one bus to go to the beach.

It is not easy to travel around. However, it is definitely worth the price, and it is a very good place for vacation.

It's a nice place to stay and offer free breakfast during weekend and holidays! Has a lot of facilities and enough space for a solo traveler in a shared room. Affordable price I really enjoyed it and definitely would go back if I had the opportunity. It worth it.

The mattress was too old that I couldn't sleep more because my back hurts.

It’s clean, especially the shower room and toilet! It is also comfortable for a short stay with affordable price near itoshima! It has all facilities that I needed, such as hair dryer, laundry machine and laundry dryer~ The bed is bigger than I think and comfortable! The host is also helpful and nice~

If your main travel area is Hakata or Tenjin (shopping region), the location of this hotel may be a little far away for you. But the distance which is acceptable to me! It takes around 40 mins to Hakata and approximately 1 hr to the Fukuoka airport. Another point is that the alley near hostel it is a little bit dark when you come after 11pm, and barely see people they pass by unless they are the residents who live nearby. Even though there is nothing worried about living in Japan, it was a little bit scared to me since the alley was not really bright enough to see clearly. It is advised to come earlier to the hostel if you are a coward just like me haha🤣

Overall, the stay was good, only 6-7mins walk to chikuzen maebaru station. Very friendly staff, the room was good, and had things I needed for a comfortable stay.

The walls are a little thin, I can hear everyone on the other side. The pillow felt like a beanbag. But it was still comfortable.

This place was everything you’d want and more! Ran by a local couple who are absolutely lovely. Facilities are clean, well maintained and private when needed. I was able to hire a bike from this location for 100¥ per hour which was absolutely perfect. Located in a very quiet area, but close to convenience stores, a small walk away from the station and bus stops. I’m definitely coming back here on my next trip to Japan!

That there isn’t anything to dislike about it.
