The Hotel is great! It's superb value for the price. The staff is amazingly friendly. The common area is really nice, to eat, read, relax or meet other people. The rooms have a decent size (unless you bring a ton of luggage). The location is great too, and you can easily and relatively quickly get to Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ueno, Tokyo or Daiba. The walls are a bit thin and you can hear other guests in the hallway, but the hotel provides earplugs AND honestly guests should be respectful of each other. No complaints for the hotel here.

The only thing that dropped the rating down a bit is the fact that there is no separate shower (cubicles) for men. Both women and men have an onsen style bath with their typical sit down showers to clean yourself before going into the bath. But women also have separate shower cubicles. Men do not. The only possible shower is in with the sit down showers next to the bath, which in itself is not a problem, UNLESS you have tattoos. If you have any slightly larger tattoos as a man, you need to cover these with tape, even if you just want to take a shower. I understand Japanese rules and accept that they require tattoos to be covered to use the bath. But having to cover them only to take a shower is quite annoying.

Conveniently situated a stones throw away from Nishikawaguchi station, this hotel punches above its weight in style, service and vibe. The ever friendly and kind staff make this hotel a “must stay”. There is always a friendly welcome when you return for some much warranted rest after a day exploring central Tokyo, which can be reached within 20-30 minutes easily from this location. The common space comes with massage chairs and the convenience of being just around the corner from a 711 means you’ll never run out of snacks or refreshments. We were lucky enough to get a room looking out onto a crossroads, but despite Nishikawaguchi being a bustling little town in its own wright we found the noise level was acceptable, and disturbance was minimal.

Outside looking in, the property can get missed. The surrounding area has small little restaurants and stores. Upon entering, we (4 people) were greeted by staff members, given instructions (recommend keeping it), and were handed keys to our rooms. Inside was clean. There was a total of seven floors. Second floor was a lounge, very quiet. Lounge came with a kitchen, restrooms, tables, smoking rooms and a soda/water machine. Seventh floor has the lady’s washroom and laundry. Third floor has the men washroom and laundry. For the women washroom, you’ll need a code and they change it once a week I think. Different floor has different station restrooms. All restrooms are shared with specific floors having one individual restrooms. All rooms comes with TV and mini fridge. Coco also provides sleeping clothes and shoes. They do cleaning service every consecutive days. So for example, we checked in on Monday, Tuesday at 1pm will be cleaning day. When you’re about to venture out, you will need to hand them the keys and they will swap you with a plastic card with your room number. Be sure to keep the card safe as it is your proof of entrance back to the hotel. Lastly, they will hold your luggages if needed.

What I did not like about the property was how thin the walls were. In addition, the room can get stuffy and windows cannot be opened…the AC that came with the room wasn’t the greatest and we still had to open our door from time to time. Women laundry room had one washer (300 yen) and dryer (100 yen)…if you don’t want to use this washroom, there is a laundromat near by less than 5 min walk.

Pristinely clean. The twin bed room was spacious than other hotels. 3 lady toilets are always clean. I love the private shower room and public bath, all clean! The common room are comfy. We love the oven, for crispy croissants!! The common room feels like home. My mom loved it a lot. We still praised this hotel even after we got back. The last night we stay in the city center, the price was triple and the room was half size with no free drinking water provided. Here at Coco Stay, you can have unlimited hot& cold water. The staff are nice too.

Nothing! Please don't raise up price. Japan's hotels price are getting ridiculous nowadays.

The Service that they gave my daughter I'm very appreciated there soft kind gesture my daughter is not fluent in japanese they can understand a little but how to speak is very difficult.b4 the last day of my daughter she has feeling sick that day but the Coco staff is helping her to guide so I'm very thankful to them I'm proud to say that I'm never regret to choose Coco stay than other place bcoz my daughter is very comfortable with them to stay so idlike to recommend this hotel to every one This is the One 🥰❤️Thank you Somuch. Everything was amazing from the staff to the clean room.

The walls are to thin, my first night there the person next to my room was masterbating and watching adult videos and then snoring all night long. I couldn't get any sleep. The same could be said the night before I checked out. I ended up checking out early for the same reason.

-Everything was clean! Sheets, room the lobby looked nice too -late check out is possible, we checked out 11:00 instead of 10:00 for a price of 1,000 yen more per hour -slippers, night wear, ear plugs, toothbrushes, towels were provided -shampoo, conditioner and body soaps were fragrant, the washroom and toilets were communal but extremely clean, blowdryers available too -bed was comfortable, sheets and blankets too! AC worked well! Very tidy room! - we had a mini fridge with a hot kettle ( we didn’t use it but it was there for us to use) -we checked in pretty late around 11 and the staff greeted us with a smile and the check in was breezy, they provided clear instructions in English for the common areas, wifi password and the shower room password, -the lady showers are on the top floor, they have a digital lock so you need to punch code the code to get in, they have washers and lockers too - free water from the dispenser -polite staff and cleaning ladies! - I like the labels in the that say sanitized, it looked like it and there definitely was no foul odors -very quiet location, even when the hotel was fully booked our floor was quiet too!

-we had two beds and we had two separate bedside lights but the light was too bright (they did say they have been trying to be sustainable so I guess no eye masks) it wasn’t bad for me because I was too tired so I slept well, but even when with one bedside lamp on, the room was still too bright

All the staff members at COCO Hotel truly sets it apart. From the moment I arrived, their warmth and attentiveness created a welcoming atmosphere. Every staff member, precisely from reception to housekeeping, went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay I wish there was available room but unfortunately I had to move to another hotel because the Hotel is fully booked. The genuine friendliness and dedication to customer service left a lasting impression. Combined with the hotel's amenities and stylish decor, COCO Hotel provides an exceptional experience that I would highly recommend to fellow travelers.

Lowly helpful staff, very clean and tidy, nice little additions like earplugs in the rooms. The location is great too, 2 minutes walk the station to get into the city and all convenience stores and restaurants nearby

Maybe it's a traditional type of place I don't understand fully, but the shower facilities closing between 10:00 and 16:00 felt a little restrictive
