This was my first time staying at JR-East Hotel Mets at Komagome. The room was a good size (larger than equivalent APA hotels I have stayed at) and more than large enough for a single traveler. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. The best feature of the hotel was it's location adjacent to Komagome station. Komagome is on the Yamanote line, providing easy access to the rest of Tokyo. I also really liked the area around Komagome station , as it is more of a local area and less busy/touristy than areas such as Shibuya, Shinjuku, Tokyo Station, etc. There are also several konbini stores directly outside of the hotel. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Tokyo.

This is one hotel I'd like to book in again. We rented bikes that needed to be kept in storage and I thought it was going to be a hassle. But I was surprised at how it was no big deal to them. I love how the rooms, though not exactly big, are just right for your needs. The place somehow became homey after staying for 10 days and now I miss it.

A bit of a challenge communicating in English but the staff do their best.

location and cleanliness of the room were amazing. The room also has a sizeable desk which allow you to work comfortably. There is a convenience store downstairs. Close to Nippori station where you can stake Skyliner train to Narita Airport.

The fact that the location of the hotel is a mere minute walk from the JR Komagome station was such a relief, especially after a day long walk! Denny's breakfast is a choice between continental & Japanese.... just perfect!

Everything was excellent... Checkin was a breeze, and checkout just took a minute! There was one small concern which I should have considered. Not the fault of the hotel though. We stayed 4 nights. Then we spent a night in Nikko. We chose to return to JR Komagome Mets Hotel for another 3 nights. But I should have requested the same room, or at least a room which had the same bed orientation as our first 4 nights. I surmised that even number rooms would have the same bed orientation, as odd numbered rooms would have also.

Obviously the location. It's really next to Komagome Station, at JR Yamanote Line, two stations away from skyliner to Narita. The fact that my room was located in Ladies only section with bigger size compare to the standard in Tokyo, showed how thoughtful the staff was when we upgraded our room. The staffs tried their best to accommodate our needs even with limited their English, which is the only drawback of staying here but it's understandable since majority of their guests are still japanese. The price that we paid were included breakfast at Denny's which was still affordable compared to other hotels.

I just love everything about this hotel.

Great location, especially after a long trip. The hotel is outside the station, as soon as you exit, you make a turn to the left and it is beside New Days Combini. I'll consider staying here again in the future. I had a beautiful view, so that was really nice. The room was tidy and clean, the bathroom was big. They offered all necessary amenities. Some of them were at the reception floor. Bonus points because amenities included many bath salt to relax on the bathtub. I truly liked this place and would recommend it to others!

Just beside JR Train and other lines..with a tunnel that connects the train station and the hotel. All staff are accommodating! Hotel rooms are cleaned everyday.2 great bakeries just beside the hotel.so many food choices surrounding the property.Free coffee and other personal things at the lobby.Great food and staff at Dennys!

Just a bit far from Shibuya,Harajuku,Shinjuku but still ok since it is connected with JR Yamanote Line.

the location is amazing! right above the line that takes you everywhere in Tokyo! there is a 7-11 and a lawson and even a new days right next to it. room is decently sized for two people, but comapared to tokyo it seems like it’s a big room. staff super nice and helpful, they even provide an umbrella from the front desk. housekeeping also got us 2 bottles if water every time they cleaned, that was lovely

couldnt open the window bathroom a bit too small and you could hear everything from inside there

-the hotel is located just outside Komagome station, which is very convenient after a long day's walking -convenient for reaching both Shinjuku and Tokyo stations -rather spacious room and pleasant bathroom -clean and comfortable -breakfast is a plus

Little choice for breakfast (all egg-based formulas), a little redundant after a few days so we went outside !

I dont know if it is normal in Japan. They only thoroughly clean every two days.(like changing bedsheets and blanket) But they give new towels and bottle water everyday.
