Room had a very big bathroom with a bath. The bed was also comfortable. The surrounding area also had a lot of shops, convenience stores, and restaurants. It was easy to find a place to eat for breakfast near the hotel.

Location wise, it was a bit far away from central tokyo (shibuya, shinjuku, ikebukuro, etc.). Often needed to stop at Shinagawa and take another line to get to these places. These trips usually took 30+ minutes.

Nice, clean cozy room. The room was a little small and when I put the backpack on the stand to open it - there was hardly any space to walk. It's not a big issue given I didn't need that much space but a thing to note. The restroom and shower were nice quality and behind the glass which (while not entirely private) gave a little more space visually. Beds were super comfortable and provided sleepwear and toiletries were nice quality. All inventory was good and cleaning up to the standards. Additionally APA hotels provide free VOD service enabling some Japanese and more western hollywood movies in multiple languages on their TV - so that was a nice surprise. Enjoyable stay.

When I arrived at the hotel about 14:15 and asked to check-in, your staff simply said that an additional charge 2000 yen will be charged for (早着). I understand that the check-in time was 15:00 but without any explanation, I was simply told " an additional charge is 2000 yen" . It felt as if they were saying, "That is the rule and regulation" , which was disappointing.

The location is good, near JR Kamata station. The room looks new, comfortable, and clean. Staffs are very nice. You can deposit your luggage before check-in and after check-out. It is suitable for staying 2 people here. Wifi speed in the hotel is good. The hotel is not noisy in my viewpoint. To reach the Haneda airport, you can easily walk to Keikyu-kamata station (approx. 800 m. with very convenient walkway) and take the KK lines.

The bed and pillow were very comfortable. I was able to get a good night's sleep. The room is small but everything is well organized and served its purpose. Everything went smoothly. This was my resting spot as I traveled elsewhere. I would definitely go back. There are a lot of food places that are within walking distance.

Very convenient location, both close to the station and a great passageway of restaurants and shops. Kamata Ekimae has the standard APA Hotel service and facilities, but I found that my room was more spacious in comparison to other APA stays I've had in different areas.

Can't speak too much to what I didn't like as it was a short overnight stay before a very early morning flight.

I like all the amenities that were in the room and how super clean it was. I also like how you have the option of checking out late or extending your stay all from one click on the remote controller in my room.

The didn’t like the nightly rate price for how small the room was.

close to the JR and Tokyu Line Station prob'ly 3min. walk. Around 35USD taxi fare from the Haneda Airport International Terminal. hotel is located in roofed shopping street so you don't need umbrella and easy to reach Restaurants and local clothing stores, Shiatsu acupuncture massages, etc. Hotel room is small but bathtub and shower area is separated so you can watch kids while you are showering or soak in the tub :) and station building has shopping mall you'll find it very convenient please try fruits sandwich at marchen :)

if you are from a strict family? or an affluent family,, you may feel uneasy :) you'll find lots of bars serving alcohol from the morning. Kamata is Very lively area for commoners? everythng is casual,, so up to you it's interesting or not. Perdon my english I highly recommend this area it's different Tokyo and pretty safe area for sure have a good trip :)

The hotel is conveniently located near Kamata Station and various convenience stores. The staff is friendly and supportive, and the toilet is notably spacious, featuring a bathtub.

The room as more space that I thought which is great, same for the bathroom. The hotel is super well located, there's 7eleven, family smart and Lawson one or two blocks away. You can go to Tokyo pretty easily from the station. If you like TCG there's three small stores walking distance from the hotel.
