lovely and very helpful staff, breakfast was decent considering it's free/included and some items were rotated between days so it felt fairly interesting even staying consecutively, carbonated bath is a great unique feature and the bath area was clean and well maintained. there was an option on the TV to check if the bath or laundry machines were occupied, very thoughtful. lots of great amenities choices in a self-serve style including pyjamas and pillows to borrow. the area around Kamata station basically has everything you would need also so location-wise it's pretty great. wifi was also much more stable than I've experienced elsewhere. overall would definitely love to stay again, thank you!! :D

room cleaning is from 10am sharp and goes for 5 hours/isn't possible to book a timeslot or come back early so as a remote worker there was no choice but to skip most of it, but I think this is fine for most tourist schedules.

Staff was amazing. Facilities (onsen, washing machines, microwave/oven) and extra goodies (open bar) were great for not eating out every evening. Amazing breakfast selection.

We really missed having adequate storage in our room. There was only a small table and 3 hooks. Even with the small room sizes - not unusual for Tokyo - there were empty walls that could have been used for shelves and the like. We were 2 people with a suitcase and carry-on each. After a few days of shopping we really struggled with the space. We have previously been to hotels where rooms were similarly sized, but with more storage they did not feel as small as our room in the jr hotel Kamata.

(October, 2024) Not too far of a walk from Kamata station. Close to Haneda airport. This was the first hotel of many I stayed at for a month long trip. It remained one of my favorite. The room was a great size for two people (from what you'd expect in Japan...). Private bathroom, and option for public bath (three shower seats, one "carbonated"/bubbly hot bath). Bedrooms have a large TV with different channels and information about the hotel. Has a live feed of the breakfast area so one can see if it's full or not. Breakfast itself was a very balanced buffet, with plenty of options. They had a staff member who knows English to help with check-in or various questions.

Nothing particular comes to mind. "The rooms could be bigger", but that could always be the case. After leaving the station, the walk is only ~5 minutes. If that's too much for you... Very balanced hotel.

Lovely hotel very close to the main centre of the highly-underrated district of Kamata and Kamata Station, also not too far from Keikyu Kamata Station (10-15 minutes walk) for people travelling to and from Haneda Airport. Numerous restaurants, bars and shops nearby. The hotel is itself is very nice and the staff were all lovely. Breakfast had a 7-day rotational menu and some days were better than others, but it was always very good. Only Y200 for to use the laundry (washing; drying was free). The room itself was small but cosy. Free alcoholic beverages between 6pm and 9pm, with a decent selection (note - these are not unlimited drinks), and coffee, juice and fizzy drinks are available throughout the day. Free pillows and pajamas at reception. I did not try the hot spring as I have tattoos, which could have proved problematic, but it looked nice and seemed quite popular.

If you're staying in a room with a bunk bed, room service will not make the bed on the top bunk, for some reason. I was staying with my father and took the top bunk, and having to make it daily quickly became tedious.

We had a lovely stay. One of the girls from the reception was absolutely amazing. We accidently bought frozen ramen and she helped us out cooking it in the microwave. When that didn't work and we went to our room, she put them in the oven and brought them up to our room. She was lovely, and everyone working there was so kind. The onsen is also great and the rooms are clean.

The bathroom feels a bit cramped and it would have been nice to have some cupboard space to put away our clothes. But all minor stuff.

Staff is quite friendly and I can feel them trying their best to give us the best service they can even though English seems not too popular. It's really a short walking distance to the JR station within 5mins and there are a lot of stores/restaurant in the area. In terms of the hotel itself, breakfast is fairly OK, and we do see some dishes running out during the peak/rush hour in the weekend, so if you'd like to have them all, go to the breakfast as early as you can and bear in mind that the opening hour for breakfast is only to 09.30 am (if I still have them right). The best part is to me is there are a lot of kinds of pillow to pick at the first floor.

Not too much to complain with its price actually. The spa area is not spacious, so highly recommended to enjoy the good time off the rush hour. I booked a Deluxe Double Room for just myself, and the room itself as well as the bathroom/restroom are not spacious either but it's reasonable and general in Japan.

Staff Is very friendly, communicative and helpful. Breakfast has an assortment of well balanced and healthy choices. On-site Onsen was a major plus! Relaxing and kept very clean. Room Service staff is prompt and do an amazing job at keeping the rooms in top shape

The bathroom is quite small if you are sharing a room, Fortunately It was just me so I did not run into this issue. Other than that I have no comment! I Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Room is big for Tokyo standard. Double bed. Good value for money. Close to Kamada station and close to Haneda Airport. Has hotel onsen and buffet breakfast included.

Not sure if it was the connection. There wasn't much interaction with staff. Enquiry messages were sent to the hotel a few days before travel and I only received reply the day I arrived at the hotel. By that time it was too late to make the arrangement I was hoping for as I was waiting for hotel response. But other than that, had a comfortable stay.

The best is that it has an onsen. I also appreciate that the breakfast is included. It is close to the JR station and about 15 min from the train station from which you can take the train to the airport

The room smelled a little like cigarettes. Using a password as a key for the room is nice but also uncomfortable if you forget it, still not a real problem if you take a picture with the phone.

F/P value was really good. Breakfast is Eastern style, not really for me. The onsen was a perfect addition, I almost used it every night. Room was ok, but the pillows were really weird.

Pillows. Location is somewhat sketchy, but Japan standards, dont forget.
