I have stayed at this hotel many times on business trips 25 years ago. I was expecting the building and rooms to feel old and worn but I was pleasantly surprised to find a vibrant, busy and updated property giving great service and superb value. They have successfully recast this property as a destination with an authentic onsen using piped in water from nearby Mt Rokko which has proven very popular with Japanese families and visitors seeking a nice getaway with great onsen facilities in a western style hotel with rooms larger that you would find elsewhere. The vibe is pleasant and focuses on tranquility and rest. So happy to see that this property continues to thrive 25 years on. Stayed 2 nights, wish I had time to stay longer. Will definitely return!

- onsen was good because it's a paid onsen for day customers, hence the facilities were top-notch. - cleaning was done constantly at the onsen. I could even see the cleaner cleaning while bathing - the hotel was located just a stone's throw from the train station with a sheltered walkway - there's a family mart, saizerya and Cando just downstairs, very convenient

- too crowded at breakfast times and have to wait for a LONG TIME. We stayed for 4 nights on weekdays and through the weekend and it's still crowded even on weekdays. the hotel need to have a better system for managing breakfast - Some parts of the hotel are hot, with no aircon.

Wonderful accommodation. We booked a room that offers you Sheraton Club facilities.. It gives you acces to the club and a great view on kobe and free drinks and snacks. Although the hotel is not in the centre of the city, public transport brings you in about 20 minutes downtown. Rokko liner metro stops every 6 minutes in front of the hotel and is comfortable and has good connections to other trains on the mainland. Be aware: breakfast can we challenging during rush hour. Especially during weekends. You might have to wait for 5-10 minutes before being seated. Great variety of food. Kind staff over there. The check out was a bit non-friendly. No “ thanks for staying with us and hope to see you again. “ which we expected for staying for three nights. Not to forget: splendid onsen with a lot of different baths. Very top- of -the-bill relaxing! Very recommended.

The hotel is located on a private quiet location. Room size is good and staff is attentive & professional. Hotel breakfast is quite good spread and free parking facilities for guests makes it easier for us to drive out & explore Kobe.

We book the club room but was quite disappointed with the club facilities at the lounge as snacks were limited to biscuits, coffee/tea & drinks only. The lounge should provide hot items like sandwiches, etc. same snacks for evening cocktails with wine and beer are not even available.

A lovely and very welcoming hotel, surprisingly easy to reach by train from Kansai airport. The onsen is fabulous, and breakfast superb. We would stay here again.

We would have liked to use the lap pool, however, it required an extra, and we thought expensive, fee .

The room was big and bed was comfortable. The onsen was so relaxing. The access to club lounge was great. Afternoon drinks with snacks overlooking central Kobe in club lounge.

The breakfast choices could be better. Too rowdy during breakfast . They should let those with children in one area, and those couples in another, so u can have a peaceful breakfast.

The room was very comfortable, and included toiletries that I haven’t seen at other hotels. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We ordered room service, and it arrived quickly and was delicious. The breakfast was wonderful.

Wish there was private onsen available.

The Spa was great - a really good experience.

The gym entrance was not included in the price - I was shocked to be asked to pay to access the gym. This was not clear in the description of the property.

We loved everything, the room, the hotel facilities, the breakfast, everything was great :)

Wifi was not working in our room for the whole week we stayed.

It was clean and in a great location. The staff members were very friendly and most of them could speak English
