It was a very memorable stay at Hotel Plaza Kobe. I highly recommend for those travellers that want a peaceful and relaxing stay. It just a couple of train stations to Osaka, the nearby hotel has bus stations to Universal Studios Japan and shopping district in Sanomiya good for elderly persons. The staff of the hotel are very courteous and helpful even assisted me when I lost my personal belongings in the train. We will definitely comeback specifically their skybbq grill which serves premium Kobe beef and chicken

I liked everything

The room was more spacious than most other rooms we had so far and the hotel was very luxurious. The breakfast was very good. There were a lot of choices and the panaroma restaurant offered a nice view. There was also a nice view from the hotel room and the beds were very comfortable. Lots of toiletries as in other Japanese hotels. There are some shops in the same building. The room itself was very quiet and there were three elevators, so you usually didn't have to wait very long for one to arrive

The staff did not speak very good English and they charged us less when we arrived, but then they called us after 9 pm the next night and we had to pay the difference. The location is a small disadvantage because it is not in the centre of Kobe, but the Rokkoliner is easy to reach and it is an easy way to get into the centre. We took a cab to the herb garden and ropeway station and this cost £25. The beds were comfortable, but there was only one pillow. There is a barbecue rooftop place, but they were not going to serve us anything anymore after 9 pm on a Saturday night at the beginning of September

The hotel is very beautiful and offers all the comforts you might need. The rooms are much more spacious than the average Tokyo size, and the view is wonderful. The furniture is classy and vintage—a style I particularly like. The artwork on each floor is a nice touch. The bakery in front of the lobby serves amazing sweets—be sure to try the cube croissant! The location is a bit inconvenient—it's on Rokko Island—but a short 6-minute ride on the Rokko Line takes you right into the heart of the action.

The pillows: please consider switching to memory foam. The traditional Japanese-style ones are very uncomfortable and can cause neck pain.

After mobile and genius discounts, I paid less than £50 for a Sunday night in a very nice hotel. It is close to the Island Center station. We had a good sized room on the 15th floor with a fine view of Kobe. There are ice machines, which meant I could treat my insect bites. Breakfast is on the top floor and provides a wide selection of food but at ¥3000 per person is pricey.

Great hotel. The staff was very kind and helpful. They went the extra mile and helped me make a reservation for the bus back to Osaka-Kansai airport. Facilities were clean and well maintained, very comfy room and bed. Toiletries and other amenities were on a table at the front desk, so you could grab all you needed, anytime. Breakfast was spot on! Great buffet with many different options, both Western and Asian. The location is great, just one block or so away from the bus stop and the train station. Congratulations to the staff and manager. This is what hotel experience should be.

Maybe have a few international cable TV options.

The hotel is located in a family-friendly environment. Kids are often seen playing in the area outside the hotel lobby. Restaurants are nearby and the surroundings are nice to walk around.

The staff at the reception can seem a bit not attentive. There were 3 staff around, but only 1 was serving the queue. I was standing there waiting to get my room key and the staff ignored me and skipped me to serve another guest who came later.

A clean and elegant hotel reminiscent of the 70s/80s, classic hotel vibe with comfort in heaps. The baths were my favourite feature, greta size, quick to fill. Right next to the train to the main city which was very convenient. Shop downstairs for fresh fruit with the most delicious strawberries.

Potentially a little out dated in its furnishings with a little wear and tear but otherwise it really wasn’t an issue.

Loved this hotel! Situated on artificial island just before the city, easily accessible by monorail and the hotel is next door to one of the stops. Very convenient. Very friendly staff, eager to help/accomodate. Big plus also for the wonderful breakfast.

Actually nothing, hated to leave the place!

The breakfast was fantastic. The location of hotel is a bit far away from the attractions but the public transport network is well connected in JAPAN. This is my first time coming Japan, the people of Japan gave me a positive impression, here it not only hotel I stayed is clean and tidy,but also nearly everything I see could feel the people's work attitudes are serious and focused.

The staff and housekeeping were very friendly and also able to speak English which was very helpful for my family and me. The hotel is in the same building as the Rokko iPark which had a grocery store, pharmacy, Daiso, a cafe, and more.
