It was super cosy and they provide yukatas for you to wear area the property. The Onsen had an indoor and outdoor one, and I really enjoyed it! The dining was amazing, you get a private area for breakfast with everything beautifully prepared (it’s done with so much finesse and love). I highly recommend the dinner Omakase too, it was such a great experience. Highly recommend this place to anyone coming down to Komagane. You can take the bus from the JR train station and it stops right outside the hotel. Was so happy I chose this place to stay for 2 nights. :)

The location was great—close to what we needed, especially the bus center to the mountain. the breakfast was very nice and unexpectedly good.

It could have been emphasized more clearly that the room has no private bathroom and guests need to use the public bathroom for showers.

Meals were superb. The banquet on the first night was huge. We asked for a lighter dinner for the remaining nights. Breakfast was also great. Very attentive staff who made us feel most welcome.

Lack of nearby cafes/restaurants in Winter. However the staff kindly arranged lifts to ones in town.

If you're looking for an authentic Japanese roakan onset experience, this is your place. We loved the onsen and bath products, the traditional Japanese meals, and the staff were incredible!

If we were to go back we would choose a bigger room for our family of four.

We loved our stay at Hotel Yamabuki!! Very friendly and attentive staff, delicious food, comfortable onsen, and location close to lots of outdoor activities such as the ropeway and the river. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Hot Spring was great with clean hot bath, and the staff welcomed us kindly even we arrived close to 9 pm.

The bathroom in our room was too small which had bad access to the main big room.

We came late by train and they immediately offered to pick us up. The hotel is beautiful and has a nice onsen. Our best breakfast in Japan, very traditional. In the morning, they brought us to the bus stop by shuttle.

The staffs are very nice and have good service mind. We are happy to stay here to get good service and good breakfast and dinner. The room is comfortable and very clean.

Although there is a dated interior the hotel was very clean and the staff exceptional. The staff was kind, courteous and most helpful.

The hotel is quite a distance from the train station, so a taxi or bus are your best options for reaching it.
