The room is very clean & spacious (especially for Japan). There is a washing machine but no dryer function. However, there is dehumidifier air control in the bathroom to dry your clothes and you can set the total hours. It's very easy to use and our clothes were dry in few hours. There is a sofa, walk in robe and kitchenette. It's located near Takeda station. Front desk staffs are friendly, a few of them speak little English. Overall we have no issue and it was comfortable stay. Recommended!

Because the location close to the train station, you could hear the noise starts around 5.30am. No convenient stores or restaurants nearby.

The location so close to the metro, the size and layout of the apartment, the tv availability of english language programs, quiet, clean, kitchen was well stocked with utensils, the washer plus the ability to use the heating unit to dry clothes in the bathroom. We also enjoyed one breakfast that we paid for the night before. Grocery store was a 10 minute walk away and they had a large selection of everything.

The bar/lounge was not open when we returned at the end of the day so it would have been nice to be able to purchase and enjoy a drink there, as it was a lovely space.

The hotel and room are very clean, well-maintained, and very spacious for Japan. the staff were very friendly and welcoming, and spoke excellent English. Don’t be put off by the location being in a very residential with a small farm nearby, it was very assessable to central Kyoto and the tourist sights towards the East. Train to Kyoto central was frequent and only took about 10mins. There’s also an awesome izakaya nearby that served delicious food! In summary, highly recommend and would stay here again if we are ever in Kyoto.

The local area requires a bit of dedication to get to know. There are many hidden gems nearby, but it looks very bleak. It’s a little bit of a walk to the closest convenience store.

Despite being slightly out of the centre of Kyoto, the location is SO convenient. The train station is around the corner, and in literally 5 minutes you are in the hustle and bustle. But here, it is quiet and peaceful. Room size was adequate, very clean and well maintained. Having a full kitchen is also so handy! Thoroughly enjoyed our time, definitely recommend.

The beds were firm but not too bad considering some others, but I will say, they are small. We are two larger Australians (one taller, one wider) and we could barely fit together on a bed. These are not queen beds, but what I would consider an Australian double, which is VERY squishy for 2 adults. Consequently sleep quality was a bit poor, but considering how good everything else was, c'est la vie!

Amazing place to stay, by far the best accommodation of our trip. Two adults and a teenager in an apartment. Nice, quiet residential area but only a couple of minutes from a station where you could get the train to Kyoto station in 8 minutes. Check in was easy, we were lucky that the staff member we dealt with spoke good English. Note that there are not staff on site 24 hours. The apartment was spacious and comfortable which was particularly nice after having spent the first part of the trip in a small hotel room in Tokyo. We were able to have a bit of our own space and chilled out on the sofa watching films after long days of sightseeing (we logged into our Netflix account). Loved that we got to watch the sunset from our balcony. Having the kitchen was great as we were able to have a couple of meals without having to eat out. There was a 7/11 a few minutes walk away to buy any essentials needed. There was a brilliant folder in the apartment giving instructions on how to use everything, with photos to help. Especially useful for the washing machine! There was another folder with easy to read maps of the main visitor sites in the city and which trains/buses to take to get there. Each member of staff had also listed their top thing to do. Another map showed various local restaurants. Would definitely stay here again if we went back to Kyoto.

Quiet location, if you prefer quiet, this place is recommended.10 to 15 minutes walk depending on your walking speed to convenience store and nearby there was a restaurant which food recommended. Check-in was easy, There are staff to assist. If you are early check-in, you can put your luggage there just let the staff know they will handle it for you. There was a side gate (heading to store and restaurant) just at the staircase, but once the door locked, you might need to use the main entrance. The main entrance and side gate were just beside, and so is either way. Transportation convenient. Metro 5 to 10mins walk also depending on your speed. Changing metro or taking jr line to attractions also in short timing if you plan well. My routine was kyoto, osaka. The room was big and comfortable with all supply, which you need while travelling. This apartment was great. For me, food can find elsewhere or order from the apartment. The room needs to be comfortable. Overall, the trip was fun and comfortable in staying here. 👍

Very nice and spacious room, plus very clean! Check in (at night) was easy with their instructions. Staff was friendly. Hotel is convenient and quiet. The location is great! About a 2 minute walk to Takeda Station and it’s very easy to get around from there. Small staffed station which makes it easy to navigate, even for people that aren’t used to the public transportation in Japan yet. Only negative was that the washing machine didn’t work, and it didn’t get fixed even though the staff said they would check it. Plus the bar times aren’t correct, they close much earlier most days.

Location was outside Kyoto downtown but worth it for the bigger room. also just 5 minutes walk from the nearest station that could get you to the popular destinations

conveninence stores a bit far from the hotel location but good for those who would like a bit of walk.

The staff is nice. There is a quite launge on the ground floor with some food and alcohol. The room was very large and the kitchen was equipped with everything you need. The hotel is 5 minutes walk away from the train station.

There is nothing much to do near the hotel and the restaurants are about 10 minutes away.

We have loved our stay here. Rooms were a great size for 2 adults and 2 teens. 5 mins from the subway station, it's a nice flat walk and a really quiet area. Convenience store not too far a walk away and the whole area felt safe. Subway is only a couple of stops away from Kyoto main station. The room has shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, razor, cotton wipes, complementary water and some sachets of washing machine liquid. The washing machine works great, there is a quick wash option which we used. The shower room has an option on the control panel to turn on drying mode, this is great for drying clothes over night or while you are out. We needed an extra sachet of washing powder which reception were able to provide to us. Rooms are modern and comfortable and the walk in wardrobe was a great space saver and somewhere to put our cases. Reception staff were really friendly and helpful. We would stay here again if we are visiting Kyoto!
