We had a fantastic stay here! The staff were always friendly and helpful. The hotel's amenities were excellent, including an onsen. As an Australian with tattoos, I had no issues accessing it - the TV screen even displays a capacity guide to help you choose a quieter time. I was mindful of visiting during less crowded periods out of respect, but I encountered no problems. Other great facilities included a washing machine (300 yen per use), vending machines, and microwaves. Location was 1 min walk from a Family Mart & 2 min walk to the train station.

Great location and a really nice Onsen, rooms are small but no smaller than most Japanese hotel rooms. It's clean and neat.

Although we booked a non-smoking room it definitely smelt like someone had smoked in there – when the aircon was off for the day and you came into the room you could smell it.

Room was huge compared to other Japanese hotels with a big long desk and huge window (my view was of Kyoto Tower which was fabulous at night) Bed and pillows so comfortable Completely sound proof room and black out curtains worked a treat. Fabulous local in between Kyoto Tower and Fushimi Inari (east 20 min flat walk) plus metro literally across the road and bus stops minutes away. Very walkable! BREAKFAST!!!! was beyond amazing - the Japanese stables each day plus little varieties and since I was staying a week I really enjoyed this. Corn soup!!! Udon noodles!!! Mini coffee jelly and crème caramels OMG … perfect way to start the day. Also has an onsen free to use for guest which I would’ve loved but can’t use as I gave tattoos but bath tub in room was very relaxing and had a bubble bath everyday after exploring this amazing city! Vending machines (with alcoholic options and ice dispenser were super handy for enjoying evening drink is said bath. Laundry (coin operated) was also great - and dryers were free. Only having to gave room cleaned every 4 days (with fresh towels delivered every day) was perfect to give you privacy and flexibility to sleep in if you wanted. Free umbrellas were also available. Was also able to have a late check out which was only 1100 yen which was fabulous. Hotel was beyond expectations HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

One usb on side of bed didn’t work but that didn’t matter as there were plenty of sockets and one on other side

Location was great. Far enough away from the city centre that you're away from the noise and can rest peacefully at night. But, the front door to the hotel is 30 seconds away from the train station, so travelling around the city is super easy. You can get to Karasuma station in under 15 minutes. You're also on the right line to get to Nara without having to go into central Kyoto. Rooms were very big by Japan standards. Everything was clean and in good order. Staff were very friendly. Definitely recommend.

There's an onsen downstairs. It's a simple one, but very helpful after a day walking through the city. Also, they have a bus going to/from Kyoto Station, and we took it a couple of times during our stay. They also offer free coffee and sugar sticks at the lobby.

Despite having a station and convenience stores close to the hotel, I really missed a supermarket near there. There are also some restaurants 10-20 min walking away from the hotel, which was not convenient for a family traveling with a 7-year-old boy. One comment, not necessarily a bad thing, was the coffee provided at the lobby. They made sets with sugar and cream sticks, but I needed more sugar sticks than cream; I had to take extra cream sticks because of that (I'll use it at home, but it's still a waste. It would be simpler to just leave the sticks apart).

The location is good. Only 3 stops from Kyoto main station by MRT. Hotel is only 3 min walk from Jujo station. Hotel also provides pick up and drop off service between Kyoto station and the hotel once per hour. Hotel is quite new. Our twin room is very big.

Everything was very good. Except our room got a strange smell. I can’t describe what was it. Smell like burned plastic. I asked the receptionist to come if she can tell. Anyway, nothing can be done. Hotel was fully booked. We can’t change rooms. I am not sure if other room has the same smell. This hotel is quite new. Maybe the smell is from the interior materials.

Breakfast selection was great, good location, parking available (for a fee), public bath was really nice, didn't have any trouble with tattoos. Room was perfect and has everything you need. Staff are really nice and smiley :)

The public bath was really nice. They provide clean towels everyday without entering your room. The included pajama set is nice. It rained one day and they even provided umbrellas in the lobby if you needed them. Location is great, walkable to Fushimi Inari and Kyoto station, which is what I was mainly looking for, close to subway station and bus out front if you need a quick ride to Kyoto station but they also provide a shuttle that runs from Kyoto station. Family Mart is also on the corner to grab a quick bite in the morning or late at night. Would definitely stay here again if we come back.

Excellent hotel in a nice a quiet location. The room in true Japanese style was exceptionally clean and no smoke smell at all. Fast wifi and a vending machine room on each floor too. All the standard amenities and if you run out you can just go grab some more from the lobby on each floor. Large carpark and reasonable parking fee with unlimited entry and exits. The hotel is located away from the traditional busy areas in Kyoto but still within 2 min of a subway stop and they also have a shuttle bus to Kyoto station that runs fairly frequently. The restaurant looked good but wasn't open during our stay. I hear it services good breakfast.

The hotel itself was excellent but there wasn't that many places directly around the hotel to go for a meal but the subway station is only 2 min away so easy access to Kyoto station and all the food options you could ever need.

I really liked the location as it was only a 2 to 3 minute walk from the hotel to the nearest station which was only two stops away from Kyoto station. Ramen place just opposite the strait which was fantastic! Spacious room with a really long table for sitting down at having breakfast, doing makeup and leaving all my shopping! Facilities were easy to to use as well as the washing machine already has automatic detergent dispenser which was great! There's also a shuttle bus that'll take you to and from Kyoto station which I definitely took advantage of when I had a lot of shopping!!

Definitely a great size room for solo or couples. If you are bringing more than two large suitcases it may be a tight squeeze, but you can make it work, especially if it's just coming and going.
