Really great breakfast every day for seven days. Little to no street noise. Comfortable beds. Loud neighboring guests only one night (from that country known for loud guests). Fabulous mochi shop half way to the train station. Great bento shop one block further. Great grocery store at the station. Wonderful world class art museum next to the station. Marugame is perfectly central for visiting Takamatsu, Shikoku Aquarium (a must see), and Kotohira Shrine! For the price this hotel is an incredible value!

Carpet in room needs to be shampooed. No air filter and filter in A/C is inadequate. Lots of dust in comforters.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional customer service provided by Aono-san (青野さん), particularly during my stay. From the moment I entered the hotel, she demonstrated remarkable patience and kindness in explaining all services thoroughly. What makes this hotel truly special is its thoughtful nightly udon service, it is really a wonderful bonus! I was especially impressed that even as a front desk staff member, Aono-san multitasked, serving udon to guests with genuine warmth and a smiling face. I can see her passionate attitude and clear love for her work. She triggered me to think about our attitude to life and our works.

Welcomed by a pleasant scent at the front door, the experience started off nicely. There’s free parking, free udon from 9-10:30pm, and a small but uncrowded mineral bath (fits about six people). The room offered a great view of Marugame Castle. The Japanese breakfast was exceptional, with plenty of options like miso soup, porridge, coffee, and soft drinks. The friendly receptionist made everything easy, and there’s no check-out procedure—just walk out the door. I also loved the option to pick my own pillow in the lobby, though I wasn’t sure which fit my neck best, I wanted to try them all!

Door and bath codes were given on a thin, receipt-like paper that could easily be lost. I took a picture on my phone, so it wasn’t a big issue.

This was a very good hotel with two things that let it down. The great things: breakfast and udon noodles at night, drinks available for most of the day, staff very friendly and helpful.

The bathrooms are very small: 1.1m x 1.49m. The bath is very small, the washbasin sits partly over the bath so you cannot stand square in front of it to use it, and there is very little space between your knees and the wall when using the toilet. Very small bathroom. Also, there is just one elevator. These two things let down an otherwise very good hotel stay.

A pretty standard room as far as "business hotels" in Japan go, though it does have a full bathroom. The on-site onsen was very nice, and the breakfast buffet was very satisfying. I regret that I fell asleep before trying the complimentary udon service that runs from 9 to 10 PM every night, but I would stay here again if I ever find my way back to Marugame.

Very close to Marugame station and restaurants. Friendly staff. I love the free udon noodles from 21:00-22:30. Free drink bar until 22:30, and the hotspring onsen is nice too, open from 15:00 until 9:30am the next day. Tap water is ion water so it’s suitable for drinking. Free breakfast with fish, fried chicken, croissants, salad, yakisoba, rice and more. No key or keycard to enter room as there is a number pad on the door and you get a passcode, which gives the convenience of no check out procedures in the morning as no keycard to return. I can see Marugame Castle from my hotel window.

Sound proofing can be better as I can hear the next room people talking.

We loved this hotel concept! The facilities are quite comprehensive, staff is highly attentive and the hotel is very clean. We enjoyed making extensive use of the sento. The evening udon noodle treat are a nice touch. Throughout the hotel, one can sense the attention to detail.

We had 2 interconnected rooms for our family of 4 children/2 adults - rooms were compact but comfortable. Whole family enjoyed the breakfast buffet and free udon overnight. Hotel is within easy walking distance of the train station and a supermarket. Hotel was modern and clean. Staff were really friendly.

By the time we came in for the night the pillow library was empty.

Great services - staff were super friendly, offered free parking, free Udon noodles at night and free breakfast in the morning. Love the breakfast - great choices and I had a well-balanced meal. I also like the idea of using a passcode to enter the room - no hassle to carry a room key and no check-out required! Coin laundry is very efficient

The room is a bit small for bunk beds.

Extremely good value for money with a great location, convenient facilities, and friendly staff. Maybe they could train a few up to speak English as communication wasn't always easy. But bottom line, excellent hotel for the the price you pay.
