The hotel was a convenient location when visiting the Kurobe Alphine Route from the Ogizawa side when you have a car. The area surrounding the hotel was quiet, as was the Omachi town during our visit in 14-15 Oct. The hotel itself was rather grand, the rooms were comfortable and of good size, and the beverage corner near the reception was well-stocked. Special mention goes to Ms Bunkei Man. She was most helpful, spending time helping me to book online tickets and offering suggestions of restaurants and places of interest to visit. I rate her a 10/10 for customer service.

Hotel location located is good, its around 25 minutes drive to Hakuba and 15 miunutes drive to closer AEON and Restaurant. For breakfast, earlier is 7am and 7.30am only, 8.30am breakfast already close.

Everythings is good the only things outdoor onsen, sauna and also laundry machine all out of order during our stay.Hotel staff are good, but for my opinion since this hotel located in the tourist spot so the staff need to know how to speak english little bit.

The location is convenient to access the Tateyama Alpine Route Ogizawa station. It is well nestled in a lot of green and was generally peaceful (except for the tour groups that arrived). The room was clean. We stayed 2 nights and the first breakfast was great, the second breakfast was a bit too vegetarian for my liking as we did not get any fish or meat. The staff was very friendly but they don't communicate well in English. If you can speak Mandarin, you have no problem --- many of the staff speaks the language. I was lucky I could.

The hotel is popular with Taiwanese tour groups who were really noisy. On one of the dinners they practically "conquered" the whole dining room and were shouting to each other all the time from one end of the room to another. I wish the hotel has arranged for us small parties to dine in another room. The flooring was a bit old, although very clean --- there were squeaks when we walked and it was disturbing since I was not staying alone.

Quite clean, the beds were already made which was really easy nice to not have to set up the beds after getting there. Stayed in a tatami room with 5 people. Downstairs has free coffee, tea and water. Was very helpful when we were going to be late with check in, and even though there was not much parking left, staff helped us find a spot.

Because of winter, the outside onsen was not going as usual. Would have been nice to know ahead of time.

The best things about this hotel are (1) the onsen which is located on a rooftop terrace, (2) the staff that went out of their way to make our stay excellent and (3) the traditional Japanese style room (although the thin futon could have been more comfortable for people who are not used to this type of bedding). There is free (iced) coffee, tea and water all day in the spacious lobby with comfortable couches. The hotel is in a quiet area and our room commanded a very nice view of the river and foresty and hilly landscape.

There was no restaurant for lunch and dinner and there were only very few options (sometimes just one rather pricy buffet dinner in another hotel) during our stay in August. The hotel left the impression that it had seen better days.

Overall it was great value. Staffs are friendly, breakfast was good too. And the room was big enough with a beautiful view from the window.

Not for this property, but this town has limited restaurant choices and no convenient stores. It’s better you bring food or book a dinner at hotel if you don’t have a car.

We had a hire car-great location,nice and quiet,close to Hakuba and Ogizawa Station for Kurobe Alpine Walk, nice large room with seating area with views of forest and river, traditional japanese breakfast and dinner.Nice outdoor onsen with views.Tremendous staff very helpful.Would stay here again

our 1st time to Kurobe, Mai san & her team tried to help us to get the tickets to Alpine but is fully booked. The hotel surprised me by helping my husband to prepare a birthday cake & upgraded our room. The rooms are clean & Japanese Breakfast I like it very nice.

It’s good for family. Food was nice. They call us to remind our dining time. Onsen was nice. When it was hot we opened the window little.

Room was little hotter because of the heater. But we off it & opened the window Little. Other than that Hotel was nice for the price we paid.

Staff was phenomenal, rooms are big, nice lobby, even a cool little bar as well as an Onsen

the rooms were a bit cold and main method of heating was aircon, so it was a bit dry - but really no big deal. overall its great.
