I liked the location of the guesthouse. It was very convenient being in the center of Dogo.

There was a note stating that the aircon cannot be used between 22:00 - 17:00 without incurring a fee. (Listed in the room). This made the room very warm during the summer. There weren't many clothes hangers so if you wash laundry, you must have your own hangers. The shower also accumulated a lot of water and it didn't drain well.

We really like the hospitality of the owner and the people who are also staying around. We were in a traditional room that caters 4 persons, in bunk beds with our own AC. We love that that they allowed us to store our luggages when we arrived so early for our check in and for check out. Kudos to the owner, you made everything simple for all of us. We also loved the availability of nearby restaurants, onsens, tram station, and convenience stores. Everything was so good for it's price. Will come back soon!

The staff was very friendly, the location was fantastic, and the price was unbeatable! There is a common space with a kitchen, shower, living space and such which is great if you'd like to meet other travelers. I was also able to rent a parking space at a very reasonable rate. Dogo Onsen and an outdoor mall are only 3-5 minutes away walking distance. There are also a couple neat shrines within 10-15 minutes. The castle, Ehime Art Museum, and Okaido are either a 40 minute walk, or 20 minutes by tram which isn't bad at all. Overall, a great place to stay and I'd highly recommend it!

The bed and pillow weren't super comfortable. The bathroom in the added space behind the guest house (if you choose the bunk option) is a little tight if you're tall.

The owner is a very friendly man who met every need that I resquested. The price is very reasonable for what you get and I would stay here again if I was staying on a budget. The location of this guesthouse is very close to Dogo Onsen, which made travelling to and from this location very convenient.

Some sound proofing in the rooms would be nice.

Very very cute guesthouse, japanese style and so central (~5 minutes away from Dogo Onsen and 2 minutes away from the tram station), but somehow in a very quite street, it's the absolute perfect location ! The staff was very nice, and the place very clean, we loved it !

A perfect base to fully explore Dogo Onsen and also Matsuyama itself. It's only a few minutes walking to all three onsens, and only a minute to Dogo Onsen station (don't miss the handbath and the shrine that is located between both).

The toilet in the annex was very claustrophobic and not a Japanese fancy toilet with a bum spray. I can't speak for the toilet(s) in the main building, because I only used the annex one.

Very friendly owner and huge variety of guests made staying here a wonderful experience. The rooms are clean and beds comfy, all at a very reasonable price. Thank you for pleasant stay!

Towels are available for rent, but there isn't soap or shampoo so be sure to bring your own.

Great location. Right next to Station, stores and the famous onsen.

It's a bit dark inside and just one shower for the whole place. The pillow was the most uncomfortable that I had in my entire life.

Great location really close to the station and Onsen district, nice introduction, big and comfortable bed, enough space to keep the backpack inside the bed. Common room with kotatsu

not exactly easy to find, walked past twice. Curtain in front of the bed a bit thin and not fully closed because of the ladder

Very close to the Dogo Onsen. The toilet is pretty clean, without smell, and very well ventilated.

Lack of soap at the bathroom sink is a bit inconvenient so I bought one.
