This is located quite close to the station, so the trek with the bags on a very hot day was quite manageable. As many of the busses and the tram pass by the Station, it is easy for those who want yo 5ake public transport to the castle or spa to do so.

We had some trouble locating a restaurant to eat dinner, and would have appreciated some indications at the hotel. In fact, there are several very close by, and we had a good dinner but it was very hot on the days we were there, so walking very far was difficult. For such days, a map in the room with restaurants and their cuisines in a word (in English and Japanese, perhaps) would be useful to enhance the stsy

The location is convenient and staff are very helpful and friendly. The hotel is very old and needs renovate. Highly recommend the onsen nearby, clean reasonable price and very relax.

Perfectly located close to the train station, the JR bus and the trolley who goes around town. Japanese room is cozy and spotless and the staff very helpful. I am considering going back.

Sky Hotel had older style beds and bedding, comfortable. Air conditioning was poor and was tempted to ask for qn upgrade room. We were only there for one night so put up with the uncomfortable heat. My husband went out and purchased hand held fans to help us remain cool. The reception staff were very welcoming.
