Beautiful hotel with a great onsen, common spaces and a restaurant (we did not try it, though) The staff is very helpful and kind, thanks very much for the shuttle ride to the train station! very comfy room with beautiful beds and a nice and functional bathroom. Provided lounge wear, towels and all necessities. Inside room a kettle, coffee, and cups. Very much recommended for a visit to Upopoy (local train from and unataffed station). There are good restaurants around, too. Very close to bus stop. Kojohama town is a nice place for a walk and some food

Company which did the renovation did not do quality job, so hotel is struggling with roof leaks, but nothing that affects our experience or stay.

Unexpectedly large and grand rooms, recently renovated. Lots of locals come here for a short onsen vacation. This is an onsen hotel, so only socks, bare feet or the provided slippers. Very clean, staff speak basic English and were very welcoming. Sufficiently large menu in the hotel restaurant so you can stay in the hotel and not have to leave for food if needed. Small hot snacks / fried food are sold in small quantities in the lobby.

I did not know about the renovation. Although I liked the old hotel too, the renovated rooms and onsen were superb. I am so happy they also started the free shuttle bus service to Nachu no mori and Noboribetsu Station.

The two of us stayed in 1 room. We asked for a second card key, and they tried to issue it twice, but both times the second key did not work. I also wish they had reusable hair brushes in the onsen, both onsens do. It is a pity they do not have a morning buffet.

Fabulous onsen experience. Breakfast was amazing. Very new hotel. Helpful staff. Beautiful decor. Large room.

It would be helpful for English speaking tourists (or those not familiar with Japanese food) Tim provide an explanation of the breakfast items. Some of the foods I did not know and I was not sure what I was eating. It all tasted very good!

Even though the property is about 5-8 mins taxi drive from Noboribetsu Sta. the hotel actually also offer free shutter both way which is very convenient to do sightseeing. The hotel also has a public bath and game center, it is really a heart-warming sight to see the local family come by to hang out and spend time together. For those who want a break from the busy city but still have access to great sightseeing spots I really recommend Kojohama Spa Hotel.

Nothing that I could think of. We really love this hotel so much that we are planning another trip to Japan just to stay here but this time we want to introduce our friends too.

I loved the room and the hospitality. The 7 eleven attached to the ryokan is pretty convenient. The breakfast is amazing.

Unfortunately, I forgot to order the dinner, and even by contacting the hotel several hours before the meal, they could not prepare one for me. It was my fault. Please pay attention and add the dinner, it is exceptional ( my friends that don't eat fish made pictures and it looked amazing).

The hotel is amazing. Love the layout and the onsen. There were 3 indoor pool and one outdoor. There are also other amenities for you to relax after dipping in the onsen.

The location is pretty far away from jr station. Though they provide free shuttle service back and fro at specific timing

Wonderful onsen. The hotel was exceptionally clean. They wiped the wheels if our luggage upon arrival and stressed use of slippers rather than shies - lockers available with keys once yoh took your shoes off. The breakfast was outstanding.

The onsen was really nice. There was also a nice lounge area. The room is a bit small for a group of 4 but it was manageable. The futons in the room were comfortable.

The air conditioning was not as strong as we would have liked.

They have the special meiji milk inside the entertainment area, and it is delicious. Most big hotel in Japan don't have this, and I am grateful they supply that in the hotel. And the onsen is perfect, hope everyone enjoy it.

The place is a bit far from the central Noboribetsu, tooks me more than 30 min from hotel to noboribetsu jikoku mountain, and not much restaurant around the hotel area, and most of them don't accept card payment.
