Myself and daughter like the breakfast. No doubt most of the items is repeated during my 7 nights stay are fine for us.

Before we check out from the hotel, we did ask the counter staff twice can they help us to book for taxi when check out. She said can no worries and this staff can speak simple English and friendly is tall lady. But upon check out on 29th April another staff was on morning duty. At 7 am I asked her to help to call taxi or how to book, she rejected not to help. We are rushing to catch our flight. She said go down stairs flag taxi. We worried unable flag the taxi. She was rude and my daughter so upset talked loudly to her.

Staff is very friendly and helpful; Rooms have a good size; Very close to Fushimi and Sakae stations, so it's easy to get around (and also helpful when arriving by train or plane) Close to interesting places like the Science museum and Oasis 21 / Sakae region; Nice breakfast.

Rooms weren't super clean. My room had chewing gum stuck to the underside of tables, for instance. Also a few stains around the bathroom. I don't really care for those things and they wouldn't prevent me from staying here again, honestly. I'd still recommend the hotel. But I know this is might be a dealbreaker for other people, so I thought I should mention.

The Comfort Hotel Nagoya Fushimi is located between Fushimi and Sakae subway stations in Nagoya City (closer to Fushimi station). You can take the main subway lines - Higashiyama Line and Meijo Line - without any transfers. It's also just one stop away from Meitetsu Nagoya Station, from where you can take Meitetsu trains to surrounding satellite cities, making transportation very convenient. The Sakae shopping district is within walking distance, and you can walk to everything from affordable BBQ restaurants to the famous Hitsumabushi Hanaoka unagi (eel) rice restaurant. The hotel breakfast is quite good, with slightly varying menu items each day, and the staff provides excellent service. While the room space isn't exactly comfortable, it's adequate - you can fully open a suitcase in a double room.

For a hotel with over 10 floors, having only 3 washer-dryer units is quite insufficient.

Excellent location walking to many sights, grab to others easy to get. Quality accommodation, comfortable fairly large rooms by Japanese standards. Spotlessly clean, everything in perfect condition. Breadkfast buffet good combo of western and asian

small and slow elevator from ground level entry to reception one floor up. Coach party arrived ahead of us all with large luggage, only 2-3 could fit at a time. Hotel just stood by and didn't seem to know how to help, in the end pushed the hotel to open the emergency stairway to bypass

The name "Comfort Hotel" perfectly reflects the experience, as it was indeed very comfortable. The hotel is ideally located in the lively Sakae district, making it easy to explore the area. Our room was clean, well-equipped, and quiet, ensuring a restful stay. As is typical in Japan, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

The hotel only has two elevators for its large, high-rise structure, which means you may face some delays during peak times. Additionally, the breakfast room is quite small for the size of the hotel, so it can get crowded in the mornings. Another downside was the washing machines. While it's very convenient to have laundry facilities available, the drying function was ineffective. After 1.5 hours, our underwear was still damp, and we ended up finishing the drying process in our bedroom. The drying cycle also left an unpleasant smell on our laundry.

Loved that it was highly accessible to Fushimi Station. Be warned, the blocks in Nagoya are quite long, so everything takes a few minutes to reach. The twin rooms were super spacious with ample lighting and a small chair with a table. There was a desk, mirrors, a small closet area, and a spacious bathroom. The single rooms were a tad smaller though so it can get suffocating if you don't like small spaces. There was a good breakfast spread. The man handling it was super friendly and spoke great English. The staff were also very polite and accommodating, helping us with luggage transport and getting us settled. The beds were super comfortable, but there was only one pillow and it was super thin and soft. My older aunts complained but I was fine with it. Toiletries and nightwear are provided in the lobby. You have to get it. They won't provide it in the room. For convenience, Matsuya, Coco Ichibanya, 711, and the main boulevard are just outside of the hotel. It was super convenient. You can also walk from the hotel to Don Quijote and the main Sakae Shopping district.

The lobby and the elevators smelled of cigarette smoke on occasion.

Breakfast! We love the breakfast everyday, though it was served so simple but there were a lot of choices, best for me was the sausage and egg. Croissant too! My husband loved the yougurt served everyday with fresh fruits on the side.

There was a bit of smell from maybe the smokers, I don’t know how come we were on the 12th floor but as soon as you get out of the room we smell cigarette smoke. Also please have new pillows, too thin and not comfy at all.

The bed is comfortable. Overall very clean. The breakfast is good. The location is good. Walking distance to museum, restaurants, shopping area. Several options for food near the area. The size of the room is good, big for typical Japan hotels. The staff is really nice and helpful.

It is not that close to the train railway track. Although there is an entrance near the hotel, it is 5 min walk to the platform. If you have a stroller and would need the elevator it is about 8 min to the train. There's no cotton, cotton buds, lotion in the bathroom.

Pretty small rooms, but they have everything you can expect at that price level. Beds are comfortable. We could borrow a HDMI cable from the reception, so we could connect our laptop to the TV screen. The buffet is a blend of continental and asian breakfast. There is limited choice, but enough of everything and it gives you a good start in the day. The reception staff is very obliging. They speak sufficient english.

Had wished for a more comfortable breakfast room. It's rather functional, not too inviting.

Could more thorough on cleaning, we found remaining rubbish in the toilet when we checked in. Very small room.
