Apr 1-6 Economy Double Room. Hotel is about 5-8 mins walk from train station. Room was clean and comfortable. Coin laundry is on ground floor. However only 2 laundry machines and the hotel was very packed with locals (think mainly office workers and some local tourists) during our stay. So we ended up doing our laundry in the morning. Hotel served free breakfast. Rice, miso, some japanese dishes and bread but no fruits. The dining area cum common area on ground floor is spacious. U can buy food from the station and dine here. Lots of eateries at train station. Tram and buses to attractions are on other side of station but the bus station to Okayama airport and other parts of Japan is on the same side.

Check out is 10 am (ok) but check in is 4 pm (not ok) Room cleaning only on 4th day of yr stay. If u stay less than 4 days than hotel would just replace the towels daily. Toilet seat got no auto warmer and we found the toilet seat a bit small even for Asian

In terms of a base to visit Himeji, Okayama, Kurashiki and the local area, it is fantastic. A short 5 mins walk from Okayama station, this was a clean, practical place and cost effective place to stay. No it's not fancy, but they didn't advertise that. Breakfast was decent, and the staff were lovely.

Breakfast food items were creative and excellent. Location was prime.

Perhaps the flow of hotels guests having breakfast could be improved by implementing a ticket voucher system or having additional room in the lobby available.

Very close to Okayama main Railway station. The same reliable quality we have come to expect from Toyoko Inns. Breakfast included.

I always warn about the very firm beds in Toyoko Inns. They are much firmer than most Western tourists would be used to. For us this is not a problem but it is worth commenting on.

Close to the railway station. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Breakfast was decent. Have luggage storage.

Bed is a bit too hard for our liking and pillow too thin. Dryer did not do a good job even after two rounds, had to lay out laundry in our room to dry overnight.

The stay is about a 6 minute drive all from the station with a Lawson convenience store 2 minutes away. The buffet breakfast every morning was tasty and the reception staff were happy to answer any questions I had.

Everything is better than our originally expecting.

The toilet is in their traditional design. We feel its size as same as the economic double room though we stayed in queen double room.

Very well organized room, tiny but comfy with everything you need for a short stay, including a little fridge and kettle. Comfy bed, super clean facilities, hard working staff and fabulous breakfast buffet.

We like the room which is big and quiet. The hotel is near shopping street and there’s a lot of restaurants nearby.

The female staff in the front desk is a bit reluctant to help.
