The property is close to kadena and to the sea wall where you can run, watch divers and surfers, walk around at low tide to see the sea creatures. The double bed is my favorite. It is so comfortable. There is a hot plate, microwave, and small fridge so when I got tired of eating out for a month I could cook some real food up. Staff is so friendly, they speak English, Japanese and a couple other languages!

The parking situation is kinda of wierd. You will be asked to turn your keys in because there is limited space for parking. I don’t really like the idea of someone driving my car. I mean i understand it but still I wish there was a better option.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Moana! The room was beautiful, clean, and really well equipped. We were happy to be able to cook and do laundry, even though there were plenty of restaurants with vegan options nearby as well! We worked remotely while in Okinawa, and were quite happy that the wifi was excellent and two of us were able to be in video meetings at the same time without any issue! We particularly enjoyed hanging out at the balcony on a sunny day! We enjoyed walking to the boardwalk nearby and made good use of the free bicycles as well, riding to the nearby supermarket as well as to the American Village and Araha beach!

There is a complimentary drink and breakfast service in the morning, and that's lovely, but I wish there was a vegan food option.

Wow, what an awesome stay. Felt so luxurious but very affordable. The staff were soooo nice! The car parking situation mentioned in reviews was totally fine, I felt like I trusted the staff completely. The rooms were so clean and the layout, design and little features were beautiful. I would 10/10 stay at this hotel over and over when I'm Okinawa. The location was great, lots of restaurants nearby and a grocery store. The room has a microwave and some cooking utensils, we heated some cheap meals from the grocery store for a home cooked meal. The room was so spacious and the toilet, shower and washing facilities were so good. Surf and dive shops right outside. If you're craving a good coffee and breaky, Australian standards, hit up good day coffee it's a short walk away. Amazing little cafe.

Everything was perfect.

The facility was great. The fact that there was a washer and dryer in our room was wonderful and convenient. The location was superb for us as it was so close to Kadena Air Base and pretty near American Village and beaches....plus walking distance to restaurants.

Parking is not plentiful. However, we lucked out and always were able to find parking. We never had their breakfast items so cannot speak on that.

The staff were incredibly helpful. We speak very little Japanese (from Australia)and they assisted us in not only our hotel elements, but also navigating out 12 days in Okinawa with restaurant reservations, using the postal system and more. The location is brilliant - incredibly close to the Seawall for some great walks, it’s also walking distance to the American Village, and there’s a number great restaurants and cafes nearby. During our 12 days, we were recommended 4 places to eat - it turns out they were all within a 2 min walk of The Moana! The in room laundry facilities and kitchenette were also very handy. The room was also a generous size.

There was nothing - we’ll definitely be back.

The Moana was a very nice property. We stayed at the Moana for two weeks. The rooms were very clean. The staff was helpful in resolving some maintenance issues we had within hours of being notified. If we were to come back to Okinawa, I would book the Moana again.

Only had Japanese TV channels and the room needed to have hangers for the towels.

Great location in the heart of Sunabe. Staff was friendly and very professional. The rooms were clean and had all of the necessary amenities.

The breakfast and coffee were always gone well before the breakfast hours but there were plenty of options around the hotel for breakfast and snacks.

Rooms were clean, comfy and well decorated! Washer and dryer came in useful and nice to have the fully equipped kitchen (although we didn’t use it). Location was great, right next to the sea, dive shops and restaurants!

No cleaning in the room during our stay, but this was not a problem, was already communicated in the listing. Can grab fresh towels and anything you need from the front desk if needed. For factor, that I think the price is a bit expensive though.

The Staff were exceptional. Every member of staff went out of their way to help guide us and make our stay as comfortable as possible. The Ambiance of the hotel is very relaxing and comfortable. Location is excellent lots of restaurants, massage therapists and the Seawalk right there. And for us having the Military base so close was very convenient also.
