The hotel was amazing. I used to live in Okinawa when my husband was stationed at Kadena, so the location was perfect. I rented a car through Orix, and the rental office was within walking distance of the hotel, right near Fogo de Chão. There are several great restaurants nearby, all within walking distance. Directly across from us was a sushi go round, a KFC, and just down the road, a 24-hour Family Mart. It was also within walking distance of American Village, which is convenient if you prefer to explore on foot. I stayed for three weeks, including the Fourth of July weekend. You can see fireworks from the balcony it was perfect. If you book a room on the fourth floor or higher, you’ll have a beautiful view of the marina and the water from the balcony. It was truly stunning.

The beds are very firm, but that’s normal in Japan. Many reviews mentioned that the pull out bed was uncomfortable, but I didn’t think so. If you’re sensitive to firmness, you might want to bring a softer pillow for extra comfort.

I stayed in the hotel for almost three weeks. It has a kitchen with a stove, utensils for cooking and dining, a microwave, a good-sized refrigerator, a dining table, and a comfortable sofa. The bed was superb, with comfy linens and blankets. The sunset and the water were amazing to see over the horizon. It is within walking distance of all assorted Japanese restaurants, especially a sushi place in front of them. American Village is approximately a 10-minute walk, and the Sunabe Seawall is roughly a 20-minute walk with an option for diving, snorkeling, and surfing. I go for a run in the morning, north and south along the coast. It is very convenient and a good location for an extended stay.

I like everything about the place. There's nothing to complain about. I will stay here again.

Fantastic! very clean, comfortable beds, great Wi-Fi, walking distance to American Village, extremely nice owners and very helpful. couldn’t ask for a better place to stay.

TV could be a little larger and if you have a van and park late at night there are only 6 parking spots outside and you have to park a block away and pay 400 yen a night. it only happened once in 3 weeks though. there are several spots underneath the building to park for smaller cars.

Location was a few short blocks from daughter and her family. I was within walking distance of the American Village. The room we booked was on beyond zebra clean. First time in Okinawa for me and my family. Rana Chatan definitely enhanced a good experience.

Nobody's fault but our own: we checked in after business hours and, it was very difficult with language barrier to work through all the posted instructions. My son-in-law helped us out, and we got our key from the automated lock box after a while.

Beautiful view of the harbor, best view of the fireworks. Location right next to Sushiro, Family mart, and Direx Dept store. Clean facilities, ice cold AC. No daily cleaning which is fine. Room was furnished with vacuum so it was good. Washer and dryer in room.

No iron.

Location was excellent, as it is within walking distance to American Village and there are several restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The rooms were decent, and we were also supplied with a sofa bed. There is also a jacuzzi on the second floor balcony. There are parking spaces available for residents.

The washing machine and dryer are a bit old.

No staff check in and unmanned most of the time was nice I don't like talking to people excessively so being able to come and go to do whatever I need to do was nice. Plus having a kitchen was phenomenal. Great view and AC too.

It was a bit expensive

Great property with clean and well appointed room for my 7 day stay. Included washer and dryer, soaps, kitchen accessories were welcome to find. Clear instructions in both Japanese and English. Great sea view and access to local stores and restaurants.

Very nice place, friendly staff, very accommodating, room was vey clean. It’s a good location walking distance to a lot of restaurants and stores. Nice view of the harbor and fireworks show on the weekends. I stayed another month here. 👍👍

If I had to say something negative it would be that the TV’s are not smart and they are a little small.

I like the view. It's amazing. It was very relaxing, clean and comfortable. It is close to the restaurants and American Village. I would like to stay again when I come back to Okinawa.

It's a little bit difficult to check in because sometimes the ipod is loading when you use the camera .although the operator was very kind.
