Great location for cyclist or toursit who came to Onomichi for Shimanami Kaido Route. Hotel is old, but room was renovated, only bath was a little scratched. Room is big, despite its for 1 person, its bigger than average APA hotels room. Staff speak english and know how to check in you according to booking confirmation number (its rare in Japan). Location is great, right in front of main bicycle rental and 50 meters away from U2 center. Lawson conbini in 1 minute away from hotel, Onomichi station is in 7 minutes walk. Sea view is awesome in early morning, totally reccomend this accomodation for 1-2 nights in Onomichi

Good value for money, we were only there for a night before we started the bike trail. Bike place is across the road so handy location for that, and not far from the train station. Room was spacious and had a nice TV with streaming apps. Aircon was able to be controlled in the bedroom which meant we could sleep at a comfortable temperature The staff member at reception was friendly and attentive

The hotel is a bit dated but we felt it was priced accordingly so not disappointed

Had a pretty decent view, and there were a lot of lighting options. Pleasant walk from the hotel to the train station and to restaurants and shops. Highly recommend the Cafe Coyote in town who have the best ginger ale I've ever tasted.

Quite cramped. Odd thing where you drop off your key at the front desk every time you go out, and then have to ask for it again when you return. Could feel the springs in the bed - could definitely use a mattress topper. There's also stairs to get into the main lobby from the street.

Friendly service, clean and silent room, cheap buffet breakfast, laundry area. Dedicated garage to store and manage your tour bicycle. Rental bicycle service across the road, 1 minute to a conbini, 5 minutes to the station and the ferry transport. Ideal location for the Shimanami Kaido.

Room bathroom was a bit small and outdated. Personally I don't like moquette pavements. I would like to have some bottle of water in the minibar.

Close to the railway station for local trains and also very close to the bike hire place which was the reason for visiting Onimichi as riding the Shimanami Kaido cycle route to Imabari (and back). Also close to izakaya and ramen shops. Also a cheap and decent breakfast available at the hotel.

Not close to Shinkansen station so involved longish hike or catching bus if using the "bullet" which we did for arrival.

Great location. Close to bike rental, ferry and station. Friendly staff. The current score of this hotel is way too low. In reply to a previous review a sign is now warning of slippery stairs :)

You have to leave the room key when you go out. Front doors is locked between 0am and 5am

The location was close to the train station, restaurants, bike rentals, and the Little Mermaid bakery. We rode part of the Shimanami Bike Route to ikuchijima, then caught the ferry from Setoda back to Onomichi.

Close to the train station and restaurants. The Giant bike store and U2 is across the street. The staff was very friendly and professional. Budget friendly and served its purpose for a nights stay.

The aircon was a little difficult to operate and the bathroom had areas with mold. Breakfast option was limited.

A few minutes walk from JR Onomichi Station. Good location for Shimanami Kaido cyclists, as the rental cycle office is on the opposite side of the road. Perfect for staying before or after cycling.
