We were immediately greeted by the friendly hosts upon check-in. They went through the house with us thoroughly. We stayed in the family suite located on the first floor. It should be the smallest room in the whole apartment but it’s just nice for our family of 3 adults and 2 young kids. At least we would not be disturbing any guests due to our kids frequent running on the wooden floor. Sound proof is not great for most Japanese houses. There’s a shared common area and toys for the kids. The whole suite may not be big but it has all the necessities you need. We love the peacefulness and quietness of the whole neighbourhood and it’s about 10 minutes drive away from the city.

The table and chairs in the living room took up most of the spaces and it might be a little challenging for all of our huge luggage.

The house has everything you need - there’s a fully equipped kitchen, underfloor heating, and an air purifier, humidifier, air conditioning and dimmable lights in every room. Each room has its own toilet and shower. Showers were awesome water pressure is amazing and the hot water in winter just hits the spot. This is a way better option to booking 4 separate hotel rooms as this comes with a shared living/dining and kitchen where you can hang out. The owners were very hospitable, helpful and welcoming.

Such friendly and helpful staff who allowed us to check in early and even offered us a lift to the station when we were leaving. The futons were super comfy and the kitchen area, spacious and well equipped. Probably the best place we stayed in our 5 week trip.

A little further from the town centre than might be ideal but easy and frequent bus and tram links.

The hosts, Vivian and Kevin were wonderfully helpful. The apartment was modern traditional Japanese with tatami floor bedrooms. Extra futons in the closet were available for extra padding if needed. The fixtures were modern and included soft-close sliding doors and a stand up shower. The kitchen was well equipped so eating in was an option. A large supermarket, and several convenience stores were with an easy walking distance. The location was a block away from the loop tram, so it was very easy to get around. It was in a very quiet, residential neighborhood, and the rooms were well insulated from sound.

The only minor downside was the distance from the Sapporo train station. The unusual location, off the beaten path, was a bit hard to find at first, even for a taxi driver. Below are QR codes to help facilitate locating it.

Good location. Walking distance to the tram which will take you to the downtown tourist area. Pharmacy and convenience stores nearby. Ample parking space. Thoughtful staff who turned on the air-conditioner for us before we arrived on a hot day.

Towels were a little thin.

Wonderful apartment with Japanese tatami in each bed room. All facilities in the rooms are well equipped and easy to use. Perfect for family travel with car. Even without car, it is just not far away from the center, and it is a middle point for you to travel to all nice spots in and outside Sapporo. Also excellent service and hospitality by the household Vivi and Guan

The host and hostess are so helpful and with warm hospitality, providing useful sightseeing advice and transportation suggestions. Miidokoro provides very clean and cozy environment. Each room is equipped with independent shower and toilet. We can even have independent living room, kitchen and washing machine only for our use. We visited Sapporo in winter time; Miidokoro provides floor heating which the indoor temperature is very comfortable. There are restaurants, supermarkets, drugstore and convenient stores just in the corner, not more than 5-min walk. I can almost find anything I need in the neighborhood.

Breakfast is not included but the hotel is near to the CBD.

It's one of the best B&B I've stayed in . Can't fault it.
