the host is very helpful, and the location is excellent with a supermarket and hundreds of good restaurants around, the house is exceptionally clean, very spacious, good value

there is no tv in the room, also, one thing that annoy me is that they provide a thin sheet for you to cover the bed and seperate your body and the quilt only. For me its not quite hygenic as you will always touch the quilt that all people used.Also, you have to make your own bed also, they provide two single bed that is not quite friendly for couple coz even if you put the two bed together, there is a big gap in between and the mattress always slips away i wont mind to pay more to improve these two, other than that, its an excellent place to go

We stayed in the annex. Very friendly welcome from the owner who gave us a lot of recommendations (very good udon and gyōza places), was quick to answer and asked several times if we had any questions. The room was simple but comfy with some storage space (which isn't a given in Japan), in a great area for food and shopping (but a bit of a walk to the main station).

Some hand soap in the toilet room would be good, and some oil in the door joints to avoid a loud noise every time we enter the room. But that's detail, overall a very good stay!

Very close to the train station and Takamatsu port. Close to the main shopping centre and no problem to find restaurants, convenient stores and fruit market. Owners are very accommodating and easy to communicate. They helped us carrying the luggage, and store it after check out. They even have someone that spoke Mandarin to walk us through the check in process, and talked to the residents upstairs when they were making noises.

The property is a bit aged with very basic facilities. The bathtub was leaking and we can easily hear people walking/stepping on the floor.

After the cramped hotel spaces of the 1st week in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka our spacious room at 777 was a relief. As was the personal touch of the young owners who went a long way to inform you on practical aspects of the surroundings (restaurants, supermarket, local transport) and make you feel comfortable and at home. So you take some shortcomings for granted. Like the steep, narrow stairs, pull switches at inconvenient places for the main lights, an ambiguous bathroom provision. We didn't use the kitchen extensively, but it would come in very handy during a longer stay. Would definitely come back.

Alex was very helpful in carrying the suitcase to the 3F apartment as the stairs were steep and narrow. He also gave us many useful tips on what to see, which restaurants etc. He and his wife organized our luggage transfer to Kyoto which was just fantastic. Location is just around the corner from the shopping arcades.

We stayed 2 nights at the 777 Guest House and thoughly enjoyed it. The owners Alex and his wife were both very welcoming, helpful and friendly. In particular Alex gave very useful recommendations for sightseeing places and nearby eateries of which there are many. Alex' s wife very kindly rang our next accommodation to confirm our reservation. The accommodation is very spacious and comfortable. The guest house is very well located being only a few minutes from the railway station (only one stop from the ferry port, few stations from the beautiful Ritsuin Gardens) and a vast covered shopping mall with so many places to eat. There is a coin laundry and a large supermarket very close by which were both very handy. The accommodation was great value for money!

Ideally placed in the center of Takamatsu, at walking distance of the train station and ferry port. The room was spacious and comfortable with a welcomed balcony. The owners, very friendly, gave advices on where to eat, what to do. Thank you Alex, it was great meeting you and having some beers!

The warm and friendly hosts, Alex and wife, went out of their way to orient us to the surrounding neighborhood, gave us tips for things to do and see and Alex actually brought us to recommended restaurants one time. And they walked to the taxi stand across the street to help us secure a taxi. Tatami mats were comfortable.

The big room didn’t have comfortable furniture to sit in. The kitchen table had uncomfortable chairs.

The hospitality was the best. We came and were given a list of good places to eat and each of them was wonderful. Alex the host give us information about the city and the surrounding islands. The hosts were always happy to answer every question. The apartment was very spacious and had a fully equipped kitchen. Close to a main street and train station.

This accomodation was wonderful. The room and all the facilities were very clean and new. I need to give a special thanks to the friendly Taiwanese Staff who were great in helping us getting settled and the advice they gave us on what to do and see in the local area. We had a superb experience and I would visit here again!
