I had an exceptional stay at Super Hotel in Takamatsu, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel is conveniently located near a well-connected train station, making it an excellent base for exploring the city and the surrounding areas. It’s also within walking distance of a 7-Eleven, which is indeed super handy. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and friendly, always going the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay. You can choose your own pillow at the first floor and pijamas which was very comforting. A standout feature for me was the coin laundry and drying facilities available on the second floor—perfect for longer stays. (Note: It's maybe a bit tricky to learn how the machines work, it would be very helpful to have more detailed english instructions!) The breakfast was fantastic, offering a wide variety of options, including mostly japanese freshly made dishes. It was a highlight of the mornings. The cleanliness of the entire hotel was impeccable, adding to the overall comfort. The sentō was another delightful surprise. It was well-maintained and provided a relaxing end to my days. I highly recommend Super Hotel Takamatsu for its convenience, excellent amenities, and outstanding service. It’s a perfect choice whether you're visiting for business or leisure. Thank you!

It's not a problem per se: The Sentō was primarily open for men throughout the night, while women had a very limited window of usage—about an hour or so, if I remember correctly. While I can understand that this might be due to the facility being used more frequently by men, it still felt restrictive (I was on vacation with my girlfriend). It would have been nice if the access times were a bit more balanced, allowing everyone to fully enjoy this great amenity.

It has everything you need! You can choose your pillow and toiletries, it has laundry (200 yen for a load) and dryer, nice breakfast and onsen. I came here 5 years ago before the pandemic and it’s still the same quality of amenities, it doesn’t look like it aged at all. Room is small but that’s expected at this price point. I slept very well after the onsen. For men and women, it’s different timings but women onsen was 8-10pm which worked for me after I came back from sightseeing.

staff was kind, patient and really helpful with my very minimal ability to speak Japanese. they spoke very minimal English yet, they were much more helpful than many hotel staff I have encountered. there was a great onsen on the property and breakfast as included.

room was really small, and made use of every inch of space, I’m ok with that but bothered by the adequate space where a fold out luggage rack would have been perfect but there wasn’t one. left me with choice of floor or…floor. shower had a place to put shower head at shoulder level but it wouldn’t stay there. there was a Really high step into and out of the tiny but all inclusive bathroom. onsen was wonderful but I was annoyed by the unequal amount of time for women vs that allowed men. a little more equity would be appreciated in the night time hours.

Good deal with the warm staff and breakfast buffet. We enjoyed the free breakfast a lot. Even hot spring was provided for this hotel. The room facilities are adequate. And it was fun that we can choose the pillows we want

The room was a bit small and crowded. We could only open one luggage inside the room. May be adding a foldable luggage rack would be more convinenent

Conveniently located near kawaramachi station with direct limousine bus to the airport. You can get to tokiwagai, lion street, and maragumaemachi on foot. Breakfast was included in room price and has a great variety. After a day out, the onsen is perfect for relaxing. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Property has onsen which was lovely, they had free welcome drinks from 5pm to 8pm with a wide range of alcohol choices which was a nice surprise and welcome at the end of a long day. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Great choice free breakfast. Reasonably good location, short walk to shopping malls and food outlets.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the staff were exceptional, so welcoming and accommodating. The facilities were of an exceptionally high standard, with the public bath being a particular standout. The breakfast offered an eclectic selection of foods, offering something for everyone! A little walk from Takamatsu station, but good transport links to the airport

free breakfast, many pillow to chose, a lot of cleaning sample, welcome drink until 10pm above 10 mins. walk is a bus stop to airport, I like the whole building is no smoking

I was treated very nicely by the staff and they even have small gifts like facemasks and locations for female travelers. Traditional Japanese beakfast was good to fuel up in the morning. Overall, I had a superb stay.

The standard room pillows are hard. There are pillows that could be borrowed from downstairs, but on the first night I was staying all the soft ones were gone.

Nice hotel, nice onsen. The staff were kind too.

The pillow situation confuses me, a very hard pillow is provided but we have to collect our own pillow from downstairs. I honestly think just providing good pillows from the start will make everyone happy.
