It was nice that the hotel was within walking distance of Tokyo Station to minimize having to navigate the metro with suitcases. The room was small, but functional (e.g., space under the bed for suitcases, hooks) and clean. The check-in and check-out experience was smooth. The neighbourhood itself was not the most exciting to wander around in, but it is close to the metro and is walking distances to some other locations (e.g., Ginza). The hotel seemed very affordable for a hotel in a big city.

I had a hard time finding the hotel on Google maps since it's just listed as "APA Hotels" instead of the specific site name. As of Nov 10, 2024 this is the Google Maps link: https://maps.app.goo.gl/WtYf6NASuNtnmChX9

There was under-bed storage which was different and nice. There was plenty of space above the bed to spread my things out. Everything was nice and clean and the wifi was very fast, I think every room had it own router which was great. APA hotels always live up to a certain standard and this one was no different.

The location was close to Tokyo station (20min walk or maybe 30 with luggage) but when it comes to other stations for tourism within Tokyo, it was a little farther than expected. For example, to get a direct ride to Ikebukuro, I had to walk about 15min to get to the closest station for the Yurakucho line or 20min for the Yamanote line. And there is not that much to do in the area of the hotel itself, as it is pretty much a boring financial district with mostly big office buildings.

The location was good in that it was close enough to Tokyo Station that I could walk there in 20 minutes but far enough away that the place was cheaper and quieter than if I had been close to the Station.

I had never eaten at Denny's, and after eating breakfast there for 5 days, I don't ever want to again. Certainly, I'll be checking a property's breakfast offering more closely next time to ensure that I don't stay there if they are partnering with a low-cost restaurant chain. The bed could be narrower. Being a single, I didn't need a queen-size bed. A single would have given me just as good a sleep and I would have had more floor space, too! But that is a nit-pick. The room was fine.

The hotel, the front desk staff and the cleaning staff were all so incredibly outstanding. They were so good at their job and also really kind and understanding all the time. We wanted to order some stuff online and they were so kind to accept our packages for us. They also kindly collected all the cargo trash afterwards, never making us feel awkward. The first day of our visit, I forgot my backpack in the taxi. The front desk staff, day and night, helped me a lot while I was trying to find a contact and locate my stuff. At the end I found my bag and I'm incredibly grateful for their kindness. The hotel location is also right at the center of Tokyo, we get to visit wherever we want with no trouble. Honestly, I'm pretty sure this is where I'll be staying the next time as well.

The only negative is there is no microwave oven in each room and you have to go to a designated floor to use their oven. I would've liked to heat some food myself but didn't want to bother with that honestly so I just used the kettle, ate outside or bought fresh food from convenience stores. Also, yeah, the rooms are small but I didn't find it as a negative. Stayed with my wife and daughter + 6 suitcase. We had a great time.

It is an extremely practical hotel just a block from a metro station (which is just a few stops from Tokyo Station). It is new (opened on Dec/23), so things are still shiny and pleasant. As it's common for hotels in central points in Tokyo, rooms are very small. However, everything in the room is meticulously planned, so you still have a queen bed with storage space under it, a desk/chair, and a private bathroom. In the lobby, you'll also find a microwave, ice machine, vending machine, and laundry machine, all really useful in Tokyo. This is an excellent option if you need a hotel to serve as a resting point between long days of sightseeing around Tokyo. On the other hand, if you value having some more comfort (especially as a couple) and need a few more m2 of space, you should consider another place. Mind you, you'll have to pay quite a bit more or stay more on the outskirts of Tokyo. Thus, my grade of 9, given the hotel does almost perfectly what it proposes to provide (a clean, practical space in central Tokyo).

The staff were very friendly and helpful. If your main activities in Tokyo are in this neighborhood, then this is a safe and reasonable location. The hotel was clean and easy to find. The check-in process is supposed to be done at an electronic kiosk, but luckily the staff are quick to help navigate the system. You can buy a breakfast voucher for a reasonable price, and the actual breakfast is in a nearby Denny's restaurant. A Denny's Restaurant breakfast in Japan is a whole special experience unto itself so you get more than just food for your money.

There was really nothing to complain about. I personally like hard beds, but find that Japanese hotel beds generally (not just here) are awfully darn hard. I did love the pillow they provided!

Pleasantly content. I was not entirely sure what to expect from an APA or business hotel, but it was simple comfort. Though the room is functionally small - it worked just fine. Comfortable bed with a warm blanket, desk, space for luggage beneath bed, places to hang ample clothing and a good shower. Liked the hotel room light control next to bed and the tv had several good options for film to stream.

There was places to hang clothes on wall hooks, a shelf somewhere would have been nice to boost the amount of storage. Otherwise was about what I expected.

We have stayed in several APA hotels and this is maybe our favorite. The location was excellent in a quite area for Tokyo but very close to Tokyo station. The bed was relatively big and the room spacious. We liked the 15th floor view and open air design. Breakfast was western style and for us it was a good thing, since we had japanese breakfast for 10 days and we quite missed eggs and some bread

One elevator for 15 floors was a bit challenging during checkout times but it moved really fast. The only thing that needs to be taken into account is that restaurant that serves breafast is located a few meters from the hotel and there might be a small waiting line and that some time is needed for the order to be prepared since it is not a buffet. The portion is limited but adequate for an average individual.

Really good value for money. We were a bit feaked out in advance about room-size comments, but we have actually been in smaller rooms in France (especially Paris)... There is space under the bed where we stored 4 suitcases (2 large and 2 small) without a problem. The hotel is well situated between two metro stops, and Tokyo Station is some 15min walking distance, Imperial Palace with Gardens some 35. There are two 7 elevens and several restaurants and bars within 100-200m from the hotel. In general, it took us max 40 min to get to all major attactions (we spent 8 days in Tokyo). The hotel is clean and visibly new. The staff are friendly, but they do struggle with English more than in other places we visited and stayed in. The breakfast place is a few minutes down the road from Hotel (really close), and it looks more like an American dinner (the food is the same, so don't expect much - we used it on two occasions only cuz it's one of the rare places that open already at 7 a.m.). If you are looking for a hotel to relax and spend a lot of time in, this is not for you. But, if you use your accommodation just to sleep over, wash yourself (and your clothes) and change... then this is a really good and well located hotel for you.

Nothing.

The staff was very warm and attentive and went the extra mile to help guests. For example, when I decided to book additional nights, the woman at the desk pointed out that I could save money by booking on the APA Hotels site. They also introduced me to the inexpensive Airporter service that took my heavy bag to the airport for me. And they stored my bag while I was away. They did many small, helpful things which I very much appreciated, and were unfailingly kind and pleasant. There were many very convenient and very good places to eat right nearby. Also, the location was convenient to two train stations, so I could get to Ginza, Tokyo Station, Shinjuku and many other areas with ease from this hotel in a relatively quiet area. The single hotel room I stayed in was not spacious, but it was clean and nice, and just enough for a solo traveler. The bed had a delightfully fluffy, snow-white comforter, and the mattress was was firm and comfortable. There was a mini fridge for snacks. And everyone who worked here was very friendly and accommodating. I stayed here seven nights in total, and it felt like my home away from home. Other small touches: right next to the bedside, there was a console from which you could plug in an HDMI cable to the TV, and dim or turn on and off every light in the room. You could also easily cast to the TV and watch anything from your phone, such as YouTube, which was relaxing after a day of running around the city.

The room wasn't huge — just enough space for a bed and desk and little else. Pillows were somewhat hard and crunchy. And the breakfast, at Denny's across the street, was downright terrible — the only bad meal I had in all of Japan. Do NOT purchase the breakfast package — there are many good places to eat just a few short steps away from this hotel. I regretted purchasing the breakfast add on.
