Large rooms by Japanese standards. Plenty of amenities to use such as toothbrush, face mask, hair ties etc. Easy to get to from Haneda airport you need to get off at Takaracho station then a 6 min walk to the hotel. Close to Tokyo station only about a 10 min walk. Staff lovely and welcoming. Will use a translator if they can’t understand English. 24hr Supermarket nearby. Also a ramen restaurant next door where they make fresh ramen worth a try.

Beds were a bit hard and the elevators could take ages especially at busy times.

Travelling on a month long trip we stayed here 5 days. Centrally located in between several stations, which means you can go anywhere in Tokyo and get home without having to jump on multiple trains. Great shower, room comfortable size for Tokyo. Clean, quiet and great as a base. Almost beside a 24 hour supermarket which is a blessing. Amazing responsive room service. Friendly staff on reception and throughout.

Much of this is a (be advised) rather than a concern: The breakfast is a choice of two Japanese options, fine if only a short stay. The hotel boasts 4 lifts, two get you to reception (14th floor) and the other two are shared with everyone else to take you from the 14th to your floor. This makes it a two step process every time you leave or return to your room. There are two washer/dryers only, (500Y) per cycle, 120 min cycle, using them is popular! Often it will need more drying than the set cycle. So this means you end up doing the airing in your room to finish the job. Not my thing, but if you are a fan of Hotel pyjamas, the Hotel PJ’s are possibly the most awful things I’ve ever seen, a drab prison quality about them that makes no sense in an otherwise quite lovely hotel.

- The location was fairly close to the Tokyo train station (walking distance). - It was pretty quiet considering its location. - Breakfast was lovely. - Twin room had 140cm beds. - We had a classic Japanese wet room with a separate Japanese toilet.

- The elevators were not air conditioned. - To go to our room, we had to use the elevator from the ground floor to the highest floor, then switch elevator to go back down to our room. - The breakfast was lovely since we stayed only two nights, but it was the same on both mornings.

A good hotel is a five-minute walk from the station. Very convenient

At first we were given one room - when we entered it, there was a smell of sweat. We asked for a change. We were given a second room - there was also a smell of sweat. We asked for a change. In the third, the smell of sweat was no longer there. When we checked out of the hotel in the morning, the smell of sweat was all over the level. I think it's from a person who does the cleaning. This is terrible, something needs to be done about it

Great locatiion. Clean modern rooms, compact but comfortable. Check-in process a bit slow, but check out was fast. Bar area is a bit lacking in character. Would be nice if the restaurant offered the same type of meals in the evening as they do for lunch. The lunch menu was good, and reasonably priced, so the restaurant was busy. Dinner menu was expensive, and few people ate there.

Too hot in summer for thick duvet on bed. Please provide a top sheet on the bed, so you can just have a very light cover.

Location - walkable from JR Tokyo station (~10-15min), though v close to nearest Metro station (~2min), located right at the corner of the street, with a prominent signage, making it v easy to find. Room - has all the necessary things including hairdryer, fridge, safe, even a bathtub. They were very cognizant to provide sufficient things like towels etc for 3 pax (which is what we paid for) (vs some hotels would need reminders to bring up an extra set of items)

Room was really quite small - we had the room with 3 single beds, all 3 beds were placed flushed against each other, but thankfully there was still some space at the side for a small seating area. Also, no closet, just hangers on a rod

Accommodation – Our room was very clean, and had a nice feel with light coloured timbers and contemporary modern decor including a beautiful cherry blossom wall panel behind the bed, its own very effective air conditioning system, a fabulous shower head with great water pressure, and separate toilet room also. In all, it was well laid out to maximise space although one side of bed was very close to the wall. Reception – Well staffed and efficient check in and check out; nice staff – very helpful. Really nice lounge area for guests with free coffee and very pleasant unencumbered view of the locale and the hotel's own greenery. Transport – Hotel is not far from two train stations, and there is a bus stop in the next block.

Hotel Yaenonidori provided an excellent stay for our final night in Japan. The hotel is clean, sophisticated and welcoming. Unusual to have the checkin desk on the top floor - the rooftop garden was delightful and calming. The room was beautiful and well provisioned with everything you could need. The included breakfast was a highlight, with Japanese and western options. I'd recommend this hotel if you need to be in the vicinity of Tokyo Station!

Elevator system was slightly inefficient. Reception is ok 14th floor and there is a separate elevator to go to rooms versus ground floor. So to leave you have to go up first to go down. Not a big issue!

Great Hotel in a good area. 10min walk to Tokyo station aswell as different subway stations. Clean, big room with all necessary amenities. Friendly staff. Nice view from the reception floor.

Like mentioned in some other reviews, a bit strange concept with the reception on the 14th floor. To get to your room you always have to take first the elevator that goes only to 14th floor and then take another elevator for your room. Hotel should give customers option to have an access to the other elevator from the entry level with a room card (since getting out of room and straigt to the groung floor is possible).

Room had a city view and a little seated area with a table which was handy even in a single-occupied smaller room. Great location near Tokyo Station, about 10 mins walk from Yaechika train underground shops & eateries connected to the main TS complex. The maple tree garden on the reception floor was a quiet oasis after a busy day. Casual dining area nice to access, good toiletries selection. Lawsons & Lawsons Natural close by for those 24-hour snacks & drinks

Sometimes had to wait long for the lifts to get to my floor. Some carpet corners showed a bit of dust/lint but I might be too picky because it was still good.
