Located very conveniently and connected to Ikebukuro via an underground shopping strip. Nearest to Exit 1, but do take Exit 6 if you have large luggages/ trouble with stair climbing. Nice staff. Able to keep luggages pre check-in and post check-out. Room is well furnished with everything you need. Potable water from the tap, a mini fridge, air conditioner that can warm the room (good for winter) and a large comfortable bed. 100% would stay again!

Might be just my room but I can constantly hear the washing machine/dryer sounds and it stops only at midnight. There were some hair from the previous occupant in the washroom and on the sheets... and also a pee stain on the toilet seat that i removed with an antibacterial wipe. Cleanliness can be improved.

It’s a small hotel with no “lobby” area to sit down. Room was small but okay. The windows are inconveniently located to open and close the blinds/curtains. Bathroom was super small. I stayed 3 nights which was ok. Bed was okay, I could sleep good. I was missing the feather blanket though that every other hotel I stayed had. Location wasn’t that super convenient as other guest stated. Lots of walking to Ikebukuro station unless you take the bus that is right front of the hotel. The Y (Yarakutcho) train line was much closer than the Yamanote at Ikebukuro.

The hotel room is great for 1! The hotel location is my favorite as there are a lots of hidden gems in the neighborhood!

They don’t provide luggage sending service to Airport but they allow me to leave my luggage for almost the full day. Usually I wasted the whole day when I move to the next hotel. But this time I checked out at 10am, went to explore more of Ikebukuro and went back to collect at 7+pm.

The rooms were modern and clean and had all the facilities we required. Location was good. Only a 10 minute walk from the train station. Plenty of shops around the area as well. The beds were great and the AC worked well.

The size of the room was a bit of an issue, considering we were travelling with children. There is not much space and there are no cupboards to hang clothes, just hangers and some hooks. For short stays, this is fine! Suitcase was a little hard to work with due to limited floor space. Would also be great if they provided screen mirror/cast services to watch TV from our devices as we didn't speak Japanese. Would have been handy for the kids to be able to watch Netflixs.

The hotel is very clean and everything is very well maintained. The staff was also very friendly and helpful for when I needed to leave my luggage and check in later. Room was also very great and they added some small touches like personalizing the welcome message on the TV for you. The TV was also very useful, you can login to YouTube/streaming services (I don't think Netflix was there though) with an auto logoff version every time you shut off the TV. I felt safe to me to use it, but if you don't, just don't login and use the free YouTube version.

Distance was the station wasn't the most convenient, but it was an okay walk for me. If you have a large group or a lot of luggage, be aware that it's a bit further from the station. Also the corridors are open, it's not a totally concealed building. It wasn't really an issue for me, but just to note in case it matter for you.

My room was gut isolated so there was almost no noise from outside which is good for people who are sensitive against noise during sleeping. The staff was kind and the room was clean.

For a 1 week stay the hotel offered just one time cleaning which has to be terminated upon arrival. In my personal opinion a cleaning every day is not a must but at least every third day. Again this is an absolute personal opinion. Towels could be changed on request every day at the front desk.

Great location and friendly staff members. I had to arrange for a parcel to be sent to the hotel, which was delivered with no issues and the front desk staff was prompt in letting me know when it had arrived.

The tap in the bathroom was slightly confusing at first as the basin tap is also the tap for the bathtub and there are different ways to turn the tap for continuous water flow.. The basin was draining slightly slow for me, not sure if this coincides with the different flow of water from the tap..

Hotel is located about 10 minutes away by foot from Ikebukuro train station, exit C1. It wasn’t super close but it was just a straight walk down so it was very convenient ! Also the staff were all very warm and helpful, special thank you to Dawa who was always very kind and ready to help at the front counter. The room itself was small (normal for Japanese rooms) but comfy and had all the basic necessities. There is also a cute patio outside of the hotel lobby that guests can use!

Sometimes the water temperature would go down mid-shower but with time it gets heated up again.

Really good location, close to metro, restaurants, bars and shops. Rooms are pretty small so if you have multiple suitcases you will have to tetris them around to open them and get in and out of the doors, but really can't complain as it had everything you'd need in a small clean space. Bed was really comfortable, small fridge, a safe in the room and toiletries included. Espresso machine downstairs. The staff were very helpful and friendly, overall really good for the price.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel was clean and had toothbrush, toothpaste, razor and a bottle of water to grab one per day at the front desk. The room was small, but enough for a short stay. I liked the location cause it was near a lot of shops, restaurants and Rikkyo University.

I run out of hot water everyday after about 10 minutes in the shower. Also, the staff was very very nice, but some didn't speak much English, which made me have wrong information about late checkout, However, I must say, the hotel was very kind and didn't put the burden on me, since this was misunderstanding and I really appreciate it. I definitely recommend this hotel.
