We love the location, just a few minutes from major shops and very close to the metro. It's incredibly convenient for both shopping and exploring other places. The staff was brilliant; they helped us book a taxi to the airport on New Year's Day since ours didn't confirm their availability. As New Year is a busy time for all taxis, she had to call a few before finding one available at our requested time. Our Japanese was limited, so we're grateful she spoke on our behalf.

Although water and other beverages were freely available for all guests on the first floor, ideally, we would have liked to have our own kettle in our room for added convenience.

- The hotel was quite close to Ikebukuro station in Tokyo. - The room was spacious enough to keep my suitcase open. - Towels and bathroom were in my room. - Staff were approachable and helpful, I had a taxi booked early morning for checkout by staff for the day I left. - Underrated is the nice cozy lobby to sit and relax at the front. - Overall a good budget hotel for your stay in Tokyo.

A little bit of kitchen space could be helpful, did have access to microwave ovens to warm food and kettle boil water. Not much else good for staying and sleeping etc. in Tokyo.

The hotel is located about 650 meter from the Ikebukuro Station exit C6. Located at the end of the street which are quieter than the rest of the street. The room we got was spacious than the rest of the hotel in Tokyo. The toilet is also more spacious with all the basic amenities provided. The staff was also very helpful and attentive which made the stay more memorable and enjoyable. We also appreciate the keyless entry to the room which is very much convenient. They provided microwave on the ground floor and our floor, which is also very nice to have.

It would be perfect if there is a water heater provided in each room. They have it outside but the water heater looks old and dusty.

The hotel feels homey after a tiring day of walking. It was nice to have a nice hot shower before going to bed. The lobby was cozy and the staff is friendly. Overall, the hotel felt like our home for our 3-day stay in Tokyo.

You need to get the water from the kitchen downstairs, not available in the room. The free coffee is also downstairs together with the hot water. The room does not have a space or table to eat take away food.

The room was quite spacious. Two large beds and open space with enough room for all of our luggage. In a nice quiet neighborhood within walking distance of Ikebukuro station, convenience stores, and restaurants. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

The step up to the bathroom was quite high making it a bit of a challenge for those with mobility issues.

I liked the friendly staff and the authentic japanese futon experience. I also liked that the room had good ventilation systems and a private fully equipped bathroom. There is also the possibility to get cleaning done when requested.

I wish they would do a cleaning automatically after two days. On our last night, we would have liked clean sheets, but other than that, I can't complain. The internet was not the best, I ended up using my data. But there is internet at least.

this place was fantastic for what you pay!!! the rooms are incredibly clean with fresh towels and fresh sheets every day! the location is beyond fantastic. would 100000% stay here again.

No staff attended during the checkout until afternoon. But that's not a big deal . The biggest concern is that there is no air conditioning in the lobby until the staff comes , it's ridiculously hot after checking out, especially during the summer.

Out of the way of the craziness of the city but close enough for the trains and crossing into the Sunshine City area. The room with the attached bathroom was honestly perfectly sized (bathroom may have been a tad small but for the space utilization, no complaints) and the whole building was super clean with staff being amazingly helpful!
