We were three of us-myself, my wife and adult son. We got a wonderful room with three separate beds. The room overlooked the Kanda river and we could watch the boats on the river which was full of fallen cherry blossoms - we were there in early April. There was a separate space for storage with the room, so all the warnings about small Japanese rooms where you could not even open a big suitcase did not apply here! The location was awesome and we were just around the corner from the major shopping and eating areas as also the subway. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it very highly.
Generally loved the hotel. Only thing is, the reception area is below ground level. So if you enter the hotel and look for the reception desk, you won't see it - you have to go down one floor! But this is a small, a very small negative, not worth mentioning really!

Firstly, the reception team were all very nice and helpful, we were always well greeted. 2 lifts in hotel, rooms were clean and bed comfortable and room has air-con. Location was very near Asaksabashi station, very easy to get to Sensoji temple and Ueno for example. Also of note, can be reach directly on a train from Haneda terminal 3 (on the KK line, which then uses the Asaksa line track, but you just stay on the train). And 10 mins walk towards the sumo wrestling stadium, for a McDonald's for those who might find this useful as a breakfast venue. Also a Denny's nearby too as another western breakfast option. a few good ramen/ donburi restaurants nearby, very convenient with 7eleven and family marts also.
The only improvement would be to have thicker bath towel (the current ones are very thin). Option to have milk+Lipton tea for non asian guest would be a plus too.

This was our second stay at the Belmont Hotel, and we're certain it won't be our last. The hotel staff is exceptionally friendly and polite, and the property is well-maintained and spotlessly clean. We are always welcomed warmly, and Ms. Kondo took special care of us from the very beginning to the end of our stay. This hotel has a excellent location - it's just a 3-minute walk to the nearby Asakusabashi station, which provides access to the Asakusa line, the Chuo line (with direct service to the other side of Tokyo), and is just one stop away from Akihabara, where you can connect to the Yamanote line for easy access to destinations all around Tokyo. The hotel has an old-world charm, but it is currently undergoing renovations, which did not cause us any inconvenience during our stay. There are a few minor details to keep in mind - you'll need to deposit your physical room key at the lobby each time you go out, and if you plan to return after 1 AM, you'll need to call ahead or warn the staff. These were minor considerations for us, as we appreciated the warm greetings when leaving and returning, and the fact that public transportation shuts down around midnight anyway. The room was spacious and comfortable, with full control over the air conditioning unit and daily housekeeping service. While the shower amenities are limited to shampoo, body soap, and conditioner, you can find additional items in the lobby, which also has a microwave for guest use. Unfortunately, there is no coin laundry on-site, but there are several options within a 2-minute walk. The neighborhood is safe, and you can even walk to Akihabara at midnight without any issues, though it's best to ignore the suited individuals outside the station, as they are unlikely to bother foreigners. The surrounding area is quiet and residential, with charming walks along the nearby Sumida and Kanda rivers. It's a truly magical place.

It takes 2min walk from Asakubashi Station. Direct train from Narita airport. No need to change line. There is 7 Eleven and Family Mart convenience store nearby hotel. Asakusa main tourist attractions are just 3 stations away. The room is huge.Still have lots of space.Bathroom is clean, the toilets have bidget. They provide bathroom rope. Amenities provided like body bath, shampoo, hair conditioner, shower sponge, green tea n coffee sachet. Will I repeat? Yes.
They use key to lock door. Not automatic card access.Need to pass them once you out and collect once U back.Take note, reception is in G floor.Need to use lift/stairs. Reception can speak simply english. They really help you and make sure you are comfortable. Simply breakfast like bread/fruit/egg will be good.

Great Customer Service. Belmont Hotel employs foreign workers in their roster of employees. The receptionist when I was checking-in was a fellow countryman, which made it much easier for me to ask questions. They were also the ones that filled-out the forms for the luggage delivery service when I needed to avail. Train and subway stations were also less than 5 min. walk. It is also located in a quiet neighborhood which is plus for me.

My room was exceptionally wide for a single traveller and was very comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, accommodating many of my requests to receive packages at the hotel. Location is fantastic as it is only a short walk/train ride away from Akihabara and Asakusa, and I could easily reach the property from Narita Airport without changing lines. Overall I couldn’t have asked for a better base during my trip for the price.
I wasn’t bothered by it myself, but being an older hotel the rooms used actual keys with large and bulky key holders instead of key cards, and you would leave your key with the front desk if you were heading out. The ventilation in the bathroom looked a little dusty and if staying in a Japanese-style room, the sliding door could get stuck if you’re not careful.

I booked a large room and it was better than I expected. The hotel had an old exterior and lobby, so I wasn't really expecting much, but when I got to my floor, it was newly renovated and the room I got was super spacious and quite modern! I also liked how hospitable and friendly the staff were, and though the hotel did not have a laundry room in the building, it had one that was just a 30s walk. Good wifi connection too.

The rating of this hotel really lower that it worth. I have a good experience stay here. Quite and clean place, not far from subway station and close to the most sight views. I stayed for a 5 days and feel freely to use everything at the room. To book this hotel, I recommend to do it before 3 months of your trip and the price will be nice. Good for solo and couples travelers.
Air conditioner works just for a while, so I just open the window, because was to hot for November

The hotel location is very near Asakusabashi station. The Japanese room is big with 2 toilets and 1 bath/shower room. There is a kitchen with cooking stove, but no microwave. Everyday fresh towels and kimonos are provided. The room is cleaned everyday. We were also allowed to leave our luggages after check-out and come back for it later in the day.
Nothing. Although a microwave in the room kitchen would have been perfect.

The superior room was spacious and fantastic with a sofa for taking a break away and recovering without needing to lie down. The staff were also incredibly welcoming and helpful.
The room I got was on the smoking floor but I didn't realise when booking as it wasn't clear to me that it was. But the staff did give me a freshener which eliminated the smell after an hour and I could hardly tell.
