The location is excellently positioned for access to and from both airports, with direct train access. Also many of the sights located in Ueno, Akihabara, Senso-ji are within reasonable walking distance... The hotel is typical of Tokyo, small, but very well optimized and offering. Clean towels are provided every day. The room is cleaned every few days, but any trash can be left at the door for collection.

Sometimes the pastry runs out before the end of the breakfast program, which can be unpleasant.

The location was incredible. It was very easy to get to any part of Tokyo and it was in a very quiet neighborhood. It was great to have the option for breakfast and it was never too crowded to get a spot before exploring. The staff was very helpful and they really tried to speak in English with us as much as possible. The laundry was a total plus!

I knew that the room was small, it just needed to get use to it after a couple of days. But having your own bathroom in the room was great also. It was a bit dark, we had a room with a window facing a wall, I would have prefer a bit of light coming in if I could.

The staff were very kind, helpful and accomodating. We were able to leave our luggage before the actual check in time. We loved the free breakfast, unli water and coffee, and a bit of variation in the breakfast menu everyday but it's a complete healthy meal to make one ready for an everyday walking and adventure. We also got a daily supply of new towels. It was good for a long stay as you can do laundry for a minimal cost. The location is very close to train stations. We would love to try another Toyoko Inn whenever we'll be back to Japan in another location.

This is a hotel chain in Japan that suitable for all business travellers but it seems like a good fit for vacation travellers that are looking for basic accommodation stay. It is close to subway or metro station. Room size as expected but bed size is above my expectation. Luggage only is allowed to leave at lobby for those before checkin or after checkout for same day pick up only. There are locker on rental at the station that can storr luggage for days & can be paid by cash or Suica card (any similar card). Typical Japanese breakfast is served at lobby & the menu is similar for everyday.

The breakfast exceeded our expectations, wide range of dishes and drinks. Very clean premises. Water and coffee available throughout the day. Microwave facilities are offered as well. Laundry facilities available as well as night gowns and toiletries. You could help yourself to a variety of teas. Very helpful staff. excellent location , close to metro station and shops.

Everything was as you'd expect for a 3 star a Hotel, comfortable and clean. Probably better. Staff were helpful and friendly.

I was staying a night, going to Kawagochiko for two, then returning for three more nights. I asked if I could leave my medium sized bag over the two nights. This was refused. It's probably a Hotel policy but I thought it was a reasonable request given I was coming back for additional nights.

I stayed in a small room but everything what I needed was there. This was incredible. The breakfast was excellent. I loved especially the Miso soup.

It would be helpful if the staff at the reception were more fluent in English. Sometimes I asked a question but they could not understand me. I know that the majority of their guests are Japanese. However, it is a really good hotel for foreigners too.

I think Toyoko is the best budget hotel chain. It has spacious rooms compared to other budget hotels. Moreover, it comes with free breakfast for everyone, making you save some penny for your travel. Staff were extremely polite and helpful too. What more could you ask for staying with Toyoko?

I dont have much to complain but maybe toyoko could try providing different menu for breakfast.

The staff was really nice, also the hotel, they provide you with a lot of amenities. Of course the room is small, like most of the places in Japan, but I think the space is ok for 2 people :) And also the breakfast is good, they change some options everyday (is Japanese breakfast)

The room was really really warm, but there is AC (I don’t like to sleep with the ac on but I didn’t have a choice)

Great location near the station. This is my second time in this hotel. Low price compared to others..

The free breakfast tables can get very crowded. You have to be early. The self check-in kiosk had errors. Be sure to record it with your phone in case of errors. The curtains also allow a little light in at sunrise so it wakes you up early. The hot and cold knob in the bathroom is a bit difficult to use
