This hotel is outstanding. Booking for two adults and two children (ages 10 and 12) proved difficult in Japan and so we didn’t quite know what to expect from this room with two double beds. It was more than enough bedding space for the four of us (more like queen size mattresses). The bathroom was crazy with a sauna and spa bath (we didn’t use either but the layout was super). The water was hot. The complimentary pyjamas were a treat. Fresh towels and rubbish removal daily. Beds made up every second day. Lovely ammenities in the room (including a hair straightener!) and even the room’s lighting was well thought-out. Hotel staff were exceptional - kind and knowledgeable. We transferred luggage to our next accommodation and the staff sorted it without problem. They even bowed from the reception counter every time we left in the lift to go upstairs. It really is an incredible hotel experience. Location to the train station was perfect. Highly recommend this hotel.

Clutching at straws here, because there really aren’t any negatives…. Perhaps the pillows were a bit uncomfortable. But we all had no trouble sleeping after big days out in Tokyo!

The receptionist was quite rude, asked her a question and rolled her eyes when returning to the back of her office.

Hisoca Decor & branding is very thoughtful and you can see the high level of consideration that was put in in the design & hotel concepts. Location is also very excellent. really didnt realize how easy it was to get to all the other districts from train station until after several days and thinking back at our prior stays in other district and hotels to compare to. From room accommodation perspective, having the dry sauna in room was an amazing experience and truly now makes me re-evaluate must haves in future travel considerations.

Consideration to have little desk & chair or other options to support remote work from room would have been a wonderful feature/benefit. Also having some type of common area fitness space would have taken the hotel to the "must stay" for me, personally.

Nice small hotel, a short walk from key Green Line JR Train Station. Room was comfortable, a bit small but the bathroom was amazing. There were three of us, and it was two beds and cot. So a bit unhappy with the third option for my son. We had breakfast with rate, it was tasty and good. Only gripe was it was a bit repetitive for four days. Staff was friendly and helpful, adding to the stay. Location was good, not as busy or loud as other neighborhoods which was welcomed at the end of the day. Yet still easy access to all areas of the city due to being on the JR green line. Would stay here again and recommend.

The cot for my son. We were three adults, made the reservation well in advance. So was surprised to see the third sleeping option. One other point, after cleaning/servicing our room, the staff person left our door open and unlocked. We had all our stuff in the room, including laptop and camera and thought our room was compromised. Thankfully nothing was missing.

Access was easy and convenient. The rooms were spotless and the bathroom was huge (the mini-sauna, though we did not use it, was a nice touch as well). We very much appreciated the optional items we could borrow for our baby son: a crib, mattress guards, etc.

There were no windows in our room, so no natural light. The room’s air was also very dry, despite the humidifier. There was also a distinct lack of closet/storage space. The lounge offered free drinks and dishwater/utensils, but it was very basic and impersonal and didn’t feel like a convivial place where one could spend time relaxing. I felt the price point overall was also a little high.

The hotel is located very close to the train station on the West Exit. This side of the station is not crowded, which is very nice. There are plenty of food place nearby and the Tobu mall. Room size is big, fit for 4 adults. Great facilities, especially the countertop oven and the speaker. The staffs were very helpful. Highly highly recommend!!!

We are a family of four and the size of our room fit our perfectly. We were floored with the cleanliness and attention to detail in our room. The bathroom/shower/spa was the best part. The staff helped ship our luggage to Kyoto and when we arrived in Kyoto our luggage was waiting for us in our room!

The hotel is very new. Pastel colours. Very close to the station. Staff very friendly. Room was larger than most. Big toilet with sauna function.

No laundry service. My room for 4 people had 2 queen beds on the floor. Tatami mats. No chairs. Just little bean bags for seats. Good for younger people. Not great for those older folks with knee or back pains... Not much room to open up luggage.

The place aesthetically is very beautiful and pleasing to the eye. The bathroom is huge a bit too big in comparison to the bedroom. The beds are on the floor. They have very nice amenities and the welcome drinks is a really cute thing they do! The staff is also very, very nice

They don’t have windows so for me it was a big claustrophobic.

The location was exceptional. Close to shops, restaurants and public transport. The hotel had a lovely deck out the front which was nice to sit after a busy day exploring. The bathroom felt like a spa with the sauna and spa bath. Free sweets and coffee daily was a nice touch. Great value for money.
