The location was wonderful if you like the quieter end of town. Easy to walk to Skytree for great shopping and food options galore. The hotel itself is a quirky boutique style. The staff are lovely and the rooms are clean. We’d only book the suites or deluxe rooms as the rest are teeny tiny! The only thing that is really challenging is the hard beds. They are HARD. People are not exaggerating about this. I love a very soft bed and survived though. Although I did double up a quilt under my sheet to cope. I’d stay here again and I’d book the atelier or library suite for the whole time. We only had one night in the atelier and then deluxe rooms for the rest of the stay.

Initally i made a mistake booking room for 2 pax instead of 3 pax. Subsequently, i contacted the hotel to change it to a triple room and it was confirmed prior to us departing for Japan on 22 May. Our room was quite spacious with a view of Tokyo Sky Tree. There was room for us to open our 3 luggage.

The shower area flooring was a bit slippery around the corners. The only thing which worried me was I received many spam mails a few days before our check-in at One@Tokyo, indicating my reservation would be cancelled in 12 hrs if I did not make a payment/ update my payment details. Caused a lot if anxiety and I had resorted to asking a Comfort Hotel Nagoya staff to help to clarify since I couldn't speak Japanese. Please be careful and not to click any link if you happen to receive such email. Call booking.com to clarify.

For our first stop in Japan we opted to stay at this hotel for 3 nights, and overall, this accommodation exceeded our expectations. - Amazing location, situated in a quiet neighborhood, 5 minutes away from the Tokyo Sky Tree and the metro which makes it very easy to reach. If you're coming from Narita Airport, you have a direct train which stops at Oshiage Station. Plenty of konbini and restaurants around. - We stayed in a Deluxe Twin room and considering this is Tokyo, it was very spacious. Plenty of space to walk around the room and have both of our medium sized luggage bags open. The room was very clean and felt "new". You have pretty much everything that you would need in terms of amenities, towels, slippers, iron, hair dryer etc. . You really don't have to bring anything with you. - The staff was very nice and spoke English. Check in was pretty fast and when we left, they were kind enough to store our luggage for free until a later time in the day. Be aware that the city tax is not included in the price and you'll have to pay it separately upon arrival. If you don't have any cash, they accept card payments.

There's one drawback that I feel is not really clear in the photos and because of this I'm gonna take away a point. The whole bathroom area is "incorporated" into the room, meaning that it's not a separate entity and you only have a curtain between the two which is transparent, meaning that whoever's in the room area can see you showering. Even the toilet "room" doesn't have a proper door, but a frosted glass sliding one. If you're a solo traveler, that's not a problem, but if you plan to stay in a room like this with a friend or a partner that you're not fully comfortable with, this can be a bit.. weird or even a deal-breaker, since you never feel like having full privacy. For us, it wasn't that big of a deal, but others might want to know this beforehand.

Proximity to transportation, modern and clean. Nice little coffee and pastries in am. Was able to have dinner from supermarket in the breakfast area. Nice shower.

Toilet seat had a mind of its own . Opening every time you walked by the bathroom

Room with Tokyo Skytree view, walking distance to the nearest metro station and additional perk is we can take direct shuttle bus from Oshiage station to Disneyland/Disneysea. Staff is friendly and they do provide free breakfast consist of bread, pastry, fruit juice, coffee and tea. My family really enjoy the pastry provided. We checked out from this hotel on 13th of the month, and would like to thanks the Manager in the morning for helping us with our luggage transportation to the next hotel, and also the 2 lovely front desk staff they help us in the beginning. Nearby to 2 shopping centre also provide additional perks to us and finally we can use their cafeteria area for dinner if we brought back our dinner from outside.

Nothing much, the hotel is as what we see in the booking.com page when we place the booking. If they can provide bath tub in the room will be better but it's not a must to me.

We love everything about One@Tokyo. This is our 2nd time staying there. It is a great location for our family of 3 (with a toddler). Being close to Tokyo Solamachi makes it super convenient. The location is also quieter than other popular tourist areas, it definitely felt more residential, which worked great for us. Close to Skytree, Asakusa, short train ride to Ueno. Tokyo Station is about 30 minutes away with public transport. The rooms are very well designed and spacious. The view from our room overlooks train tracks and Skytree, perfect for our train obsessed toddler... Note that a lot of hotel rooms we've stayed in in Japan had windows directly facing a wall. The 1st floor lounge area is super comfortable, great when you want fuss free, quick cheap breakfast / dinners. Free coffee and pastries in the morning. Baby chairs are provided. 10/10 would stay here again.

The only thing missing would be coin laundry !!! Would be a very nice addition. If you are traveling with friends, the doorless bathroom may make it awkward. It's a little far from Shibuya and Shinjuku areas.

This was a great 'hub' to discover Tokyo, it's very close to Oshiage Street (which was a main train hub) and what we loved that since it's out of the core tourist areas, it was a calmer, felt more like locals and tourists alike were in the neighborhood.

The only stumble we had was with luggage services / and the ability to forward/hold luggage. We spoke to one front-desk attendant who promised us they could do it no problem, on the day, we found out that our particular ask was not possible. It caused a little unncessary stress at check-out. All-in-all it was our fault, but would recommend any 'special' requests that take the extra time, as there are language barriers.

The hotel was modern and pleasant, with a convenient location. The rooms were on the smaller side, but very comfortable. However, the breakfast was quite disappointing – we wouldn’t really consider it a proper hotel breakfast. It felt more like a joke, unfortunately.

One small issue: at the end of our stay, we asked the front desk if they could mail some postcards for us, but they refused and told us to find a mailbox ourselves. While this might seem like a minor thing, sometimes even small gestures make a big difference. Overall, we felt that the staff at this hotel were the least friendly and helpful compared to all the other places we stayed during our trip.

Great location near the Skytree and Oshiage station (which is very convenient) with plenty of shops and restaurants. Daily cleaning services and free coffee/breakfast excellent and most appreciated. Staff are warm, friendly, and were able to communicate well even though we speak minimal Japanese. Extra touches like providing toothbrushes and having umbrellas available to borrow on rainy days is great.

Not much to say other than some of the cupboards were non-functional and just decorative, a little more storage space would be good but not a problem.

Good ambience, with a sky roof that have unblocked view of Skytree. At night, during moments where you have the whole roof to yourself, you feel like you have the whole of Skytree to yourself. If you have been up the Skytree Observatory Deck with all the chaos from tourist, you will appreciate this hotel’s feature.

My only negative feedback is that the place does not have coin laundry. The design of the building and window placement is strange as I expected unrestricted or unblocked view of the Skytree but there is a center wall inbetween the 2 windows. No fault of the hotel management, just that the whole design process was abit illogical since the selling point of certain rooms is the view of Skytree. Or it could be that the hotel chain bought over the building and redesigned the layouts. Either way, the architecture flow of interior and exterior feels somewhat flawed.
