The room was small,but clean! The housekeeping women were very hardworking and tried to keep it clean not only the rooms but the whole floor,where I was staying! They were nice and friendly! The location was good for me, I prefer to walk long distances! Receptionists Shin-san and Yumiko-san were friendly, supportive, and helpful! The only thing that makes me sad is that some guests were not cleaning after their finishing meals, or throwing out the waste near the trash container,like they didn't care about other guests or just they don't know about good manners or behaviour in the public kitchen?🤔

I like that the hotel is very close to a public transportation station. The location is also pretty nice. You have a bus stop just 3 minutes walk away and minami senju train station which is around 8 minutes walk from the hotel. The receptionist woman was fantastic and very friendly. She’s also can speak English so it is easy for foreign tourists to communicate. She also shows you around the hotel facilities and etc. The price for the room was affordable and I would definitely recommend it to any solo travelers first time visiting Tokyo. The room was clean but a bit tiny but better since you get a personal room rather than some capsule hotel which has less privacy. The toilets were also kept clean too.

I wish that the toilet has a bidet installed. Also the movement sensor lights in the toilet was a bit off. The lights would turn off earlier and the toilet became dark.

This is a budget hotel similar to a hostel and it is quite good.. clean and lots of amenities and suitable again for a hostel. It is clean and comfortable and all the staff was great. Overall, I rate it high 4 star and recommend it.

Location, it is in a older part of town and I will only rate its location as three star because you definitely have to travel to get to any other interesting area of Tokyo but budget begats some concessions. but there are markets handy with food and it is very near a train station

- Typical for Japan, staff is just amazing, really nice and helpful. - There is a spacious kitchen/living room on the ground floor. - I could store my luggage there for a day. - Enough bathrooms. I was on female-only floor and there was no problem with availability.

- They do not provide a duvet but a blanket. I do not know if it is washed after every guest so I did not use it and slept under my own blanket instead. Fortunately I had one. - Hot water is available only on the ground floor. It is a little bit annoying to take a lift for that.

I stayed with my mother who is 84years old. She was very happy with the steps free facilities. We stayed at 3rd floor with disabled toilet and bathroom - Huge and clean. Kitchen, cutlery and free coffee provided. Fridge in the room. The room was quiet and clean. Towel, slippers, shampoo were provided. Location was great. Walk distance to 廚具街(東京都台東区). 2 local supermarkets with local price of food. 7-11 just round the corner. Value for money.

The staff of this hotel always politely to travelers, and treat people friendly. The accommodation is simple but clean, the hotel also provides towels at the beginning. The shower room and toilet is shared with other people, but I don’t think it’s a problem, they are cleaned everyday by the staff. Overall, I think this hotel is worth to recommend!

The receptionist is super nice and friendly and helpful. Jewel of the hotel. 4. Near to JR, metro and TX line(can't rem which cos I didn't use it) so super convenient. 5. Wow, like 2 7-11, 1 Lawson, 3 Aeon and a nice super market all within 5 min walk.

My stay at Hotel Palace Japan has been really wonderful. Besides the affordable prices and quiet location of the hotel, it is mainly the hospitable staff that made my stay memorable. The staff are exceptionally kind, helpful, and welcoming, this made me want to return here next time in Tokyo as well. The facilities of the hotel are always very clean and the hotel is close to Minami-Senju station and various restaurants and supermarkets. You can even walk to Tokyo skytree or Asakusa in half an hour from the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel.

I liked that there is a women's only floor. I also liked that there was a kitchen with lots of cups, bowls, and plates available. The facility was also very clean and the staff were super nice and helpful! All the signs were clearly labeled in multiple languages (including English, which was also helpful.) I would definitely stay here again.
