Great location for exploring southern part of Okinawa Main Island and close to airport. Umekaji Terrace was 3 mins walk. Hotel restaurant did amazing Latin-Okinawan fusion food. Sky Lounge had nice selection of drinks and snacks. Rooms were large. Full size fridge was a bonus. Picnic breakfast concept was novel. Rooftop pool area small but great.
Only minor suggestions. More usb ports would have been helpful and including USB-C. Larger trash bin for disposing of breakfast containers. Filter water tap and jug for putting chilled water in fridge could save on canned water use, though cans much better than the usual plastic bottles. Chairs for balcony would have been nice. Clothes line in bathroom would have been good for hanging swimmers. Would be nice if light sensor had a night mode, so if someone goes to the bathroom in the middle of the night, it doesn’t wake others in the room.

Large spacious room. Beautiful decor and views. Light and airy. Very modern and comfortable. Sound proof. There is no sound from the airport. A lot of thought was put into the decor, and it flows so well. Gives Bali beach vibes. The beds are super comfy. Lovely pj's. Large shower and bath. Really spacious living area in the room. The pool is great. Free drinks all day and free alcoholic drinks from 5 pm. There is a charge for the pool of about 15 euro per person, but it's worth it. The staff were so accommodating and very organised. Nothing was too much. We ate in the restaurant for lunch and dinner and it was great. We were only here for one night, but we wish we could have stayed longer. There's a lovely calm vibe about this hotel, and everything is so fresh, clean, and new! Very near the outlet mall and airport. Great value for the price point. Would definitely come again.
There didn't seem to be many restaurants within walking distance, but taxis are cheap, and I don't think this would have been an issue if we had decided to venture out.

Love the location! And I don’t mind the nearby jets! Love looking at the planes. Facilities are way beyond expectations!! So much better than expected! Staff are super friendly and helpful! The amenities provided were very good quality and the room was amazing! Clean, spacious, well-designed; beds are big and comfy, even for four people (we each get a bed). Love their 10F lounge which overlooks the airport runway. Great drinks and snacks provided (free flow during 1st anniversary)! Close to the ocean and to the terrace!! Lots of shops and great restaurants! Great free parking! No worries about parking lot being full. They have plenty!
Would love a buffet breakfast but their breakfast concept is pretty special. Basically each room gets a breakfast basket, and you can pick up your breakfast in the 1F, and then go anywhere you like to enjoy your meal. I think it is their way of encouraging patrons to go on a picnic and also to enjoy the facilities in the hotel.

Our room was beautiful and huge with views of both the ocean and Naha Airport, the double glass doors did an impressive job of blocking out all sound from the nearby Naha Airport, which was a real benefit for a good night sleep. The hotel offers free open-air parking directly beside it, and it's just a short walk to "Umikaji Terrace" where we had dinner and the famous pan-cake. We also enjoyed the complimentary flow of alcoholic drinks in the evening, all while overlooking the pool and watching planes take off and land. It's a pity we didn't have time to enjoy the outdoor hot spring pool. We were also very grateful that the staff kindly arranged for us to pick up our breakfast boxes slightly earlier to accommodate our early morning flight, thank you so much!

Really great place! Booked this hotel to relax for a few days before driving around the main island, and the hotel was perfect for that. TThe picnic breakfast concept is really cool. The rooftop pools offered a great view of the surrounding area, and the lounge area next to it was cozy and offered free drinks during most of the day until evening. Just the standard twin room was very spacious and the balcony offered a nice view from my room.
A minor thing - during my stay there were fighterjets taking off rutinely. I guess for training purposes, but it is noticable as Senaga Island is close to Naha Airports tarmac. Took me a day to figure out where that booming noise came from, but luckily It is only in the daytime though. On the plus side - if you are an airplane enthusiast, this place is perfect for you as you can relax by the rooftop pool and do some planespotting at the same time. Also, there is 1 bus that goes directly to the hotel, but coming from Tokyo, the bus schedule leaves something to be desired. Come by car as there is plenty of parking.

Very new and chic with spacious rooms. The roof top hot infinity pool and lounge access is a bonus. You can enjoy free self serve drinks till 9:30pm while enjoying the beautiful view of Senagajima. Breakfast selection of 3 different choices for takeout to eat in your rooms, or at the lounge or at the cafe area. Free parking right outside the hotel. Foot access to Umikaji terrace with a wide range of restaurants and cafes to choose from. Staff were friendly and helpful.
As the hotel is very close to the airport, you can definitely hear and feel the vibrations from planes flying across, even with windows closed. The breakfast selection is the same 3 meals everyday, and all boxes and utensils used were non-reusable, which is not very eco-friendly.

EXCEPTIONAL! I wanted to stay there forever. The room was huge, we got pyjamas, the kitchen was equipped, beds were really big, we had a balcony with very big windows. This hotel is so clean and design that it’s a simple pleasure to be there. Onsen on the rooftop with free drinks all day long is definitely a bonus. Also the staff was very nice and helpful!
I would not say I didn’t like it but gym could be better equipped (kettles would be cool) and the view from the sky terrace is much much better during evening, during the day you see a very ugly old camping.

Nice view, good lounge, friendly staff, clean and spacious room.
We stayed there for 2 nights. My only complaint concerns the breakfast - it's evident from numerous online reviews that the hotel has been aware of these issue for some time. I am disappointed that no apparent improvements has been made. The food quality is poor and the selection is disappointingly limited. Additionally, while the hotel claims to be eco-friendly, its excessive and unnecessary paper usage undermines those efforts.

We really enjoyed our stay at The storyline especially when i was travelling with 2 kids alone. The room was extremely spacious and clean, having a sitting area in the room was a bonus for us. We took a short stroll during sunset hour to the nearby Umikaji Terrace to get take out and enjoyed our dinner in our luxurious room. It was the perfect way to enjoy our stay. Breakfast was simple but tasty. The "grab and go" concept worked really well for us as we had to catch a morning surfing class in Chatan area. We also enjoyed the pool very much. The view was amazing. We were one of the few who did not rent a car during our trip, it worked out just fine because we used the airport as a hub. There were shuttle buses go directly from airport to the hotel. We would take the airport shuttle from different areas back to the airport, then took a taxi back to hotel for a reasonable price. We will definitely stay at The Senagajima Storyline next time when we visit Okinawa.
the pool was not as big as we expected but it worked out just perfectly. It would be great if the shuttle bus stop is right outside the hotel, it is currently located about 200m away from the front entrance.

Spacious rooms. Very clean and great amenities.
Small/petty thing. PIR lighting disturbs those who are sleeping if someone uses the bathroom in the night. Very bright light. Maybe a curtain as a divide to pull at night would help. Hotel a little far from main areas and convenient stores. Quiet of an evening, local restaurants at the terrace close early. (April). Easy to get bus and uber though.
