Loisir Hotel Naha was a great hotel. The included Onsen was perfect and the pool kept the kids happy albeit it was a shallow pool and filled with lots of kids and parents in floats. Room size was huge by Japan standards and kept immaculately clean. 7-eleven onsite (closed at 12 though) made post Onsen renourishment easy and some decent restaurants within walking distance. Onsite parking was great but the staff were all super helpful, friendly and attentive. Laundry was always crowded but adequate. Machines were new and offered wash dry service. We didn’t try the onsite restaurant but it looked good. Nightly drum dance poolside was a cool touch and poolside BBQ was also available.

Pool was shallow and the floor was SUPER abrasive. But the kids enjoyed cooling off in it.

Room 1206. Staff were professional. Breakfast area (Lv1) like a staff canteen and comfy. Menu is the same, food is good. 7-11 (Lv1) in the building but not 24 hours. First time seeing an electric oven and ice cube dispenser along the corridor (really nice). Not the sea view but facing Japan Coast Guard's carpark (still a good view). There is a local supermarket nearby (Nishinomachi Market). Thumbs up for altenate days room cleaning (my room don't need that much cleaning).

Location maybe a bit off. It's a 15 mins walk without shelter. Check-in time is 3pm and it lead to a big crowd and a queue.

The hotel is very good for the price. It is peaceful and very comfortable, with excellent beds, silent air conditioning and friendly staff. The rooms are a very good size too. The facilities are very good, although one of the pools was under maintenance when we visited. The gym is on the whole very good, but has a some issues. The weight machine was not working when we visited, which is a problem, as it is the only equipment in the gym that allows you to do resistance exercises. There are no free weights and no other weight machines or bars etc. There are multiple types of cardio machine there.

The only small issue was the gym weight machine not working. The location is a bit far from the main town, maybe a 20-25 minute walk. This was not a problem for us though, as the walk is nice and peaceful.

The hotel was lovely,the staff were friendly and the bus to town came regularly.

From the pictures and description, we thought we were by the ocean with a sea view,we could see the sea, but it was spoiled by the piles of rubbish,carpark, and industrial estate. The closest beach had a giant bridge right across it. My advice would be to stay on one of the islands if you are looking for breathtaking beaches .

Out door pool was only half filled with water and we were not allowed to put sunloungers together? The lifeguard kept getting us out for 10 minutes break?The indoor pool and steam room looked very tired and dated compared to the rest of the hotel.Also the outdoor pool was closed from 31st October even though it was lovely sunny days? That was most of our holiday without a pool.

The facilities were excellent and the staff were amazing. it was super convenient being able to catch a taxi outside and the staff were super helpful with any of our questions. It was helpful having a convenience store in the hotel, and the hotel is a listed pick up/ drop off zone for a lot of tours which was fantastic travelling with a group.

The rooms were a little smaller than we are used to, and for a twin room it was a tight fight for both of us. Difficult to open suitcases without making it a team effort. Was a learning curve, otherwise not bad. :)

We enjoyed our stay. The beds were not very comfortable and the pillows were uncomfortable as well. I believe they had feathers and my daughter was sneezing all night. The room was well played out and the bathroom was nice. We appreciated the water bottles as well. I was disappointed that the outdoor pool was closed. Online when I booked it was supposed to be open.

Everything. Convenience,value,friendliness from staff even though we didn’t speak the same language they were willing to assist in every form and aspect.

I liked the ambience. Just loved the air conditioning systems which did not become a problem to block my nose 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼10/10 for that. Efficiency was just beyond comprehension as I did not expect the heat and humidity

The is a few restaurant and convienence store within the hotel. The onsen bath is great although is not big. 10min walking distance to the train station and there is a bus stop outside. the breakfast is great as you can try the local okinawa food.

It is a big further away from the main street so it is a bit dark to walk back from major bus station at night. Especially if you are joining local guided tour , it may take you 10 -20 min walk to the meet-up spot.

The pool was great, I enjoyed the jets. The shops were great, I bought some t-shits. Breakfast was a good selection and tasty. Staff were friendly and check in and out was smooth. We booked a taxi to the airport through the reception and that was helpful.

The room was a smoking room which I had booked by mistake (was not clear on the website I used to book) and therefore my room was musty and not as pleasant as it could have been.
