I booked this hotel accidently as i was stucked in shirahama because of tsunami warning on 30th July. It is spacious for my family to stay although you needed to carry your luggage to walk around a few steps to access the hotel. There is a supermarket in uphill side. I could bought foods to cook. It really helped my family as we were hungry since not shop opened . the staff aee so friendly.He allowed us to early checkin . Besides, It closes to bus station and beach. It has washing and drying machines. I am sure next time i will stay in this hotel when i come to shirahama.

A few steps to access the hotel is major disadvantage for it.

We chose the apartment with seaview options. Got the whole apartment with two bedrooms to ourselves. It’s really big and roomy. The apartment has a toilet and sink. It has a kitchen inside the apartment too but no cooking utensils so we used the community kitchen to cook our foods. There is no shower or bath inside the apartment. We used the onsen for that. Love the ocean view. The staff speaks English very well and very helpful. We love the beach across the street. It’s conveniently located near bus station and stores.

Great Location close to the beach. Onsen was good. Place was clean. They provided breakfast which was a nice bonus. We rented the 2 bedroom Apartment which felt relatively large.

No towels were provided. You could rent them for an extra ¥200 each so it was ok. The steep stairs up to the hotel might be a concern for some. In some areas the hotel seemed a little old and run down.

Clean, plenty of room. All needed facilities were there. Shared showers very clean. Free coffee and tea. Kitchen shared and your own. Great sustainable concept

The only thing we could not order was good weather to enjoy the beach. But everything else was great. The beds were a bit too soft for my liking. Better to sleep on futon beds on tatami.

So close to the beach and the bus stop. I had a view of the ocean from my bed, privacy curtain and spacious area for my things, toilet and 2 sinks in the room for max 6 women ( never had that many for my long stay ) and a large drying rack for laundry. Never had to wait to use the shower on the 2nd floor., area for drying hair. Many people used the hot springs on the first floor instead of the showers . Lounge and work area in the lobby near the Front Desk, free tea and coffee, very friendly staff who speak English, very nice and well equipped kitchen, delicious fix-it-yourself all-you-can-eat breakfast included in the price, all of this at such a great price. Large supermarket 12 minute walk away near the beach. Very highly recommended.

You cannot see the other people in your room when in bed and they cannot see you but you can hear EVERYTHING and some rude people are packing and unpacking and doing who knows what with plastic bags at midnight and then again at 6am. Not the guest house's fault obviously.

Lovely hotel staff, perfect location, great traditional Japanese hot spring. Quality-price is great.

We need to make Tatami by ourselves and clean it up, there are some spots on the coverlet..But it is OK. If I come here again, I will choose this hotel again..

Great location, great staff, reasonable. We were a little surprised that breakfast was included, but not so surprised when we figured out we had to make it ourselves 😅

A little far to the parking. But the hotel is on a hill, so it's understandable

Nice Location. Spacious rooms. Kitchen is available. Just Room dont have private shower room, Only have Toilet and Basin in the room.

Hot spring is also available but it was not so much clean. Parking location is OK but way to parking is too narrow. Also, need to climb many steps to enter Hotel. It would be nice if there will be Elevator.

No private shower or bathroom (but you do get a toilet and washbasin). There are no utensils, cutlery or crockery in the kitchenette. They are available in the breakfast kitchen, but the rule book says you can’t borrow them! We did anyway, as I’m sure everyone does!
