The furniture is old like many people said in the comments BUT it is clean, the contact was nice and fast, everything was perfect and it was very quiet. The price was very affordable to see a nice beach two minutes away by feet and a grocery store was just next to us to get some fresh food and stuff for the beach…what else we should ask? Thank you for the stay, it was very pleasant.

To get the key is a bit difficult because there are two steps to do. Once the box opened, you have to insert a new code to be able to get your key out of the box. Many people failed at this stage. Be sure to have your codes with you before to try to open the box.

The location combined with the price is unbeatable. You might be able to stay somewhere "nicer" but what's the point? The beach is literally right across the street from Ginsui! It is RIGHT next to several great restaurants and there are even more just a few minutes up the road. Only a short bus trip away (or half hour walk) from just about everything you'd want to do in Shirahama.

Not sure if we needed to do something but nobody came to replace our towels. Wasn't too troublesome, I'm sure there's a way to have them do it but we just let it go because we were only there for two days.

Fantastic location! This is a basic hotel that provides simple and modest, non-pretentious accommodation for travelers who will not spend the day indoors. It provides clean towels upon check in, and impeccable clean white cotton sheets for your comfort. Maybe the rooms are a little old, and definitely not renewed for a long time, but the beds are good enough to offer a night of rest after a day enjoying the surroundings.

Self check in can be quite shocking as the machine is not very smart, and the software is slow, so be patient. Parking lot in the facility gets full very quickly and if you are driving a VAN, you may consider go to the other parking to make things easier for yourself. The car entrance is also exit, making limited room for maneuver big-long vehicles. The sofa in the room has a cover that no need to be moved, as the couch underneath is probably old and broken, but still good to seat and relax.
