The rooms where very nice and featured dual AC units. Plenty of space, the largest place i have rented on this trip. Also one of the most affordable stays. The Onsen is quite nice and features some very warm water. Mineral deposits everywhere, really cool!

The remote check in process was a little confusing, and the main part of the building does not run AC. The 3rd floor hallway is hot.

the price was awesome! and then we got to the hotel and it was full of cool things. i loved the looks, i wish i could have stayed for longer. the room is pretty big.

No hotel staff is in-house so there’s little concern about security.

Unbelievable value for money. We paid ¥6500 for a very big family room, and the hotel also had a large game area (great for kids) and hot spring.

The hotel has seen better days, and could do with renovating, but it was still clean, and it's hard to complain considering the price.

There were so many activities in the lobby! And coffee machine downstairs were awesome!

The ONLY issue was that the bath water was super HOT!! No one could enter so we couldn’t relax 😢

It was close to the Shirarahama beach, a 10-15 minute walk. The room was big and the futon was comfortable.

The onsen looked like it was not cleaned in years and the water was so hot that I couldn't enter the (women's) onsen even after turning on the cold water tap for 30 minutes. There was white and green residue everywhere (doors, water taps, sinks). Also, there was sand in the sink that only got cleaned during the 4th day of my stay (2 of those days we were the only people in the hotel). The toilet door had brown smears and the toilet bowl had slight gray residues, and of course that didn't get cleaned either. The tatami had small bugs crawling all over them. The towels and garbage bag were never changed during our stay, and when we asked the staff (physically present in front of us!) to hold on to our luggages from the check-out time until the bus departure time, we were declined as it is "a hotel with no staff". For every inconvenience we kept being told this. At the very least I think cleaning staff should still exist, am I wrong?
