This hotel stay was a pleasant surprise. There was no AC in the room, which I only discovered after checking in. However, as it turns out we didn't need it. With the window open, it was pleasantly cool and the fans in the room worked fine for our needs. The water pressure was GREAT in the shower. The gentleman who checked us in gave us the history of the hotel, and it was fascinating. We had dinner and breakfast the next morning. The dinner was EXCELLENT, and the breakfast was quite good also. The hotel was an excellent value, and I would stay there again.

I didn't care for the very steep winding staircase. It didn't feel safe to me. We were grateful that someone was able to take our baggage upstairs for us when we arrived. Other than that, we had NO complaints.

The location within Karak is really good, if you drive your own car. The value for money makes people return. The staff are definitely helpful.

The parking lot is small (sometimes you need to park on the other side of the road, which is not bad). The bathrooms need some care (toilet seats falling away, water dripping from tap).

Owner spoke very good English; the hotel is on the road out of town, so you need a car to get up to the castle, but the owner quickly arranged for a car and driver to take me up there for 1.5 JD (you can walk back down to the hotel in half a hour, but be careful as there is no sidewalk on part of the walk next to the highway); no air con in the room, but staff provided a fan, which worked well. I had an interior room which was very quiet. Hotel is 10 minutes walk to the bus station on the road out of town.

Shower head leaked badly, so there was water on the floor in front of the sink.

Great localisation and impressive view of the castle.

Someone noted wrong breakfast’s hour for me and according to this mistake ladies from reception woke me up too early in the morning and they couldn’t say a word in english so it was very difficult to explain them that I have ordered breakfast at 10 am instead of 8 am.

The hotel is very charming, the building and the Interieur really are something special. We also had supper and breakfast for a very cheap price and both were absolutely great. The host is super friendly and welcoming, answered all our questions, had great tips for places to eat and things to visit and everyone there just took very good care of us. I would heartly recommend this hotel to everyone visiting kerak!

Great location overlooking Karak Castle with parking and friendly welcome. Great breakfast for 4JD extra was worth it and room was cosy as described. Short walk from the new town and could walk or drive 3km to the old town (involves a large hill!). The location gives good views and is a bit of a quirky build which gives it a charm. Drinks available on the evening (tea/coffee/juice) and manned reception during normal waking hours.

Room bit chilly over night - but heater in room and gave extra blanket when requested. Shower a tad squashed and due to not being connected properly leaked and resulted in a slippery floor and me slipping out the bathroom on a step. No harm done but could be fixed easily and detracted from a nice little venue

Proper road stop hotel, a bit quirky with friendly staff. Breakfast was nice, showers worked properly with enough warm water pressure. Family room was spacious and beds comfortable. It got a bit cold, but we heated it up quickly with the AC. 5 minute drive to Kerak castle and old town.

Right by the road, so if your sleep gets easily disturbed by the traffic the rooms facing the road might not be the best for you. We were tired after a long drive so it didn't bother us. Quite dirty around the hotel probably due to the garbage tossed around by the wind on the road.

Very clean accomodation, spacious bathroom, extremely polite and nice staff, so kind to the degree you were thinking how is it possible on this Earth :-), comfortable beds, the dining room very stylish ! Very nice ambient' Since we were there in winter, we appreciated a little heater which was sufficient to make the temperature comfortable. Hot water in the shower was of course available. THE KINDNESS of all will stay in your mind !!!

More furniture inside the room would be fine but we managed.

Great location near Kerak Castle. Friendly staff.

Our room had a toilet door which didn't lock and was slightly see through because of frosted vinyl was peeling off. At night it was a little noisy due to people being in the foyer/hall way.

The staff was very kind and prepared a delicious breakfast for an extra price. The hotel is 5 minutes by car from the Al-Karak castle.

The bathroom was very basic but overall I think it was fair for the cheap price you pay.
