Beach was nice, facilities good, staff were friendly and the spa was amazing… overlooking the Indian Ocean!

Comms was poor - sent them a few messages through the app but the response would take 3 days to come back. Also, watch out for the poorly placed door stop in the bathrooms - I stubbed my toe in it twice.

Everything was so good from our arrival we were welcomed by the wonderful Vanessa who helped us with our booking in and some juice while we waited Then Vanessa gave us all the information we needed for our stay. Then we were brought to our room which was amazing. this Hotel is very well run from the management team to the cooks the cleaners and the garden staff. all very friendly always asking is everything ok. The food wow so good so many options great also for family with separate kids food also. The pools are so good also. Nightlife is good also with life entertainment dancing etc. Great Hotel for sports matches also and a fantastic spa and really good gym also. The best experience I have ever had on any vacation I have been on. Highly recommend.

The bathroom could be a bit bigger in size still is good but could be bigger it just made it a little awkward when my Fiancée and myself would shower together and maybe a stoper for the sink for when I was shaving would be nice too have.

This was our third time at PrideInn and we will be back, because we love it so much. I truly believe it is THE best hotel in Kenya for a holiday ( I have stayed at and visited many). It's the perfect place for a family with kids of any age, you can be both entertained or you can retreat to the quiet parts of the resort and of course the beautiful private or public beaches. My kids (13 & 16) loved swimming, the water aerobics, and beach volleyball in the evening the most. Having said that, I would also visit on my own or with friends, as it is equally good to carve yourself out a sanctuary. This year, we stayed there for 12 nights in late July / early August and the weather was perfect. Rooms are designed in a way, you are in touch with the beautiful outside. The resort is stunning with views to the sea. Food is plentiful, very tasty, and all options are very natural & healthy. What I loved as a mom, was that I could get my rest, while the kids were out and about from morning to late evening on their own having their best time and making friends. The staff at PridesInn are the best, I want to give my special thanks to Duncan (room services), Hisami (reception), Faith & Gladys (restaurant), and Denis (manager of entertainment), they all rock! But honestly so many more staff deserve recognition. Thanks for everything and until next time!

My suggestion: Turn the music down a little around the kids pool, breakfast etc., Most guests are adults, some with children... and your young staff sometimes put the music a little too loud. I asked a few times for this to be addressed in the interest of other families, and luckily it was promptly done. Luckily, there is no music at the adult pool and beach :)

Hotel was clean. Staff went above to ensure everything was ok. Facilities were great. Water park for kids is closed between 1-3pm Meal choices were good. Shop within hotel is fairly priced. Use Uber for taxis if going out visiting.

Taxi cost within the hotel was ridiculous and a rip off. Only been able to have one drink with evening meal was disappointing when half board. Treatments in the spa were expensive. Also pool towels you had to give room numbers however this wasn’t monitored or clear when giving them back. As on occasions when giving back no staff to give them too, so put in the dirty towel bin. And no charge made to room? Not sure why they take room numbers and do nothing with it anyways. Beach was beautiful within hotel however be prepared to be asked 24/7 to buy items or experiences.

The resort is outstanding. The pools are big and very entertaining for the kids. The area all around the resort is beautiful for walking (ocean views, green grass, etc.). The food is varied with a combination of local foods and international dishes (i.e. pasta station for kids, pizza, etc.). Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the Kids Club and kept asking to go there before it opened. Esther, Happy, and the other ladies were very welcoming and took excellent care of our two boys aged 3 and 5. The gym was nice and open plan, allowing you to gaze into the ocean as you're running on the treadmill. The spa is beautiful and very relaxing. The massage I had was perfection. Overall, a very nice stay - we were sad to leave.

There were many power outages in the middle of the night, but I suspect this is a wider issue and perhaps not a hotel issue. Additionally, we were told the hotel pools opened at 8am when we checked in, but the staff cleans the pool during this time. The pools open more realistically around 9 or 9:30am.

The food was great, the water park was nice with lots of slides, soft drinks were included at meal time for full board guests, the staff were very attentive and helpful. The dance team at dinner were wonderful, the display of kenyan breakfasts being freshly prepared was an indulging experience.

It seemed to be so many different people working on their own instead of as a team. Most of the time we will go into the restaurant and there were more staff than guests. The hotel has all the components to be a great family and business hotel but something is lacking. The management should invest in marketing and basically getting new clients. For such a beautiful place, it was very empty and lacking atmosphere.

I think should serve dinner with water for free instead of selling it..In the rooms toilet they should put toilet brush. Thanks for my house keeping who putted one for after I requested. Otherwise my stay was awesome with my kids hopefully we shall come back again

Please make an All Inclusive oprion, similar to Flamingo (sister hotel) Water Park 2 hr closure from 1-3pm doesn't make sense, kids are on holiday so no need to close the park so that they can eat.. kids will eat when they're hungry not when we expect them.to

The hotel had very nice views. Upon check-in our porter, Luck, was very informative and made us feel welcome. At mealtimes, the kids' corner was a favourite. The Swahili breakfast option was a nice touch and the food tasty. The presentations at dinner time were lively and entertaining. The entertainment session at the Kone Kone Lounge after dinner was very enjoyable, engaging and captivating; it was a nice way to end the evening. The Bamboo Beach Spa was very relaxing. The water aerobics sessions in the mornings were very enjoyable. The Safari Kids swim area, the waterslides, the Art Club and general play area were a highlight for the children. They had a wonderful time.

Although the food was good, the buffet menu was generally repetitive.

We recently spent 17 nights at Pride Inn, Nyali Beach, and had the most wonderful time! I stayed with my mum and two daughters, and from start to finish, the hospitality was outstanding. A special thank you goes to Deepak, Head of Operations; James Rattos, General Manager; Happy, and her team at the Children's Club. Both of them went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable, even upgrading our stay from half board to full board as a gesture of appreciation when my children participated in their promotional videos. The animation team deserves a mention for their patience and creativity. They entertained the children with activities throughout the day, and the water park was an absolute hit – my girls were happy all day! The food was delicious, with a different menu every day, and the Indian tea was lovely – being of Indian background, we appreciated the authentic flavours in their Indian cuisine. The rooms were perfectly cleaned daily, crisp and fresh, which we truly appreciated. My eldest daughter was especially mindful of the pool quality, and she loved that it was crystal clear every day. The cleanliness and maintenance of the facilities were top-notch. The security was tight with guards around the hotel and strict guarding of the entrance which felt very reassuring for us staying there as female holiday makers with small children. While we visited other hotels during our trip, including some on the South Coast that are considered more luxurious, the culture, hospitality, and exceptional service at Pride Inn truly stood out to us so nothing compared to this for us. The staff made our stay feel like a five-star experience, and that's what made all the difference. I can't recommend Pride Inn enough for families looking for a wonderful, clean, and welcoming place to stay in Mombasa. We're already looking forward to returning on our next visit to Kenya. Nita x
