All the food services were excellent, both in quality, range and choice. The hardworking staff are exceptional - nothing is too much trouble for them, and the way that they looked after my wife's 86 year old mother was truly heart warming to see. Kenyans are naturally hospitable and welcoming, but the staff exceeded themselves. Excellent Spa treatments available. Any minor maintenance issues [ blocked drain] were dealt with immediately upon request. There are beautiful 6 pools, and the Entertainment team worked hard to provide dance shows and other activities. The public beach is beautiful and security is excellent. Even the local monkeys know to behave!

Given the hotel was so quiet, perhaps the pricing was a little high compared to other similar properties. Also, Half and Full Board basis does not allow you to use the other Lido and Terrace restaurants without paying full price -As these were usually empty , but fully staffed it would have made sense to allow a credit level spend for guests to use! It was only a minor irritation though as the Buffet restaurant food was excellent. .

The property was amazing, buffet and Italian restaurant Minazi were excellent and the customer service was great. I felt very secure and safe even though it was a large property. The views and overall upkeep of the hotel was 10/10. Definitely would stay again if there some changes.

Value for money is a little low especially for the all inclusive. Some things are unavailable to have. Which defeats the purpose of all inclusive, which can be misleading. The room was a lot smaller than anticipated. The pictures make it look bigger. The bathroom were rundown and need an upgrade and Wi-Fi isn’t great around the resort and room. Spa is way too expensive. Prices definitely need to be reviewed. Seafood restaurant overcooked fish which was disappointing as the concept of the dishes were amazing.

We loved the service received from the staff. They played a major role in enhancing our experience at Sarova Whitesands. Everyone from the groundskeeper to the Lobby staff was amazing and polite. Loved the shop, it was quite handy. Ngala and Solomon at Minazi restaurant were amazing. We had a late dinner, and the staff, including the chef, catered to our special food requests. Brian served us some of the best cocktails at the pool bar. We also enjoyed time at Coco's bar watching various performances by the animation team and the Maasai group and really enjoyed the tea-time roulette where Stacy and Mercy kept us company. We hope to visit again with our family.

Most of the days we were tired and woke up late for buffet breakfast. We wished the breakfast would have gone till 11 am.

The Staff is amazing! Through its staff, the resort has managed to created “a little heaven on earth”. My children were extremely happy with the services. On one rainy day, a kids Ozone staffer (Safarina) played board games with my preteen and teen daughters which kept them engaged and off their screens on a rainy day!! I have never seen them so excited about playing board games. The kids also enjoyed the nightly Cocobar activities. Another kudos is to the restaurant staff! All the way from the chefs to the hosts and everyone else; they were not only courteous and polite as expected, but they had big smiles and amazing enthusiasm each meal time, which made us feel welcome. Further. My daughter has severe nuts allergy, Dinner, Berlyn and others walked her through the menu each morning, lunch and dinner time to ensure that she was safe. Lastly the housekeeping staff, Mercy helped us keep our rooms clean and appealing and Duncan ensured that we had everything we needed.

The only thing I didn’t like was that I was not allowed to use the Kenya shillings rate which would have been cheaper for me. The receptionist said that this is because I booked through a third party. This does not seem like a valid reason to me, local people should be allowed to use the local currency.

The breakfast was fantastic. The hotel provided all the requests I had before I checked in such as the very comfy baby cot. They also provided me with a baby bath tub which was a plus yet I had not requested one. The dinner was good with so many selections. The hotel provides free meals for babies under 4 years old which parents can order from one of their restaurants however many times one would like. This was fantastic as sometimes we would not eat any lunch due to a heavy breakfast so it was easy just getting a meal for our little one for which we were not charged. The staff is really helpful and friendly from the hotel guards, restaurant waiters, chefs, and even the house keeping staff. I had requested for a late checkout as we changed our flight timings due to us falling ill a few days into our holiday and the reception staff provided this to us free of charge. We also received a drinks voucher as a complimentary gift to have drinks at one of the hotel bars which was amazing. The location is fantastic and our room was beachfront so we could hear the waves throughout the night which was a very good experience. I would definitely book here again!

The hotel needs to upgrade its spa facility since there are no steam/sauna facilities on site. There is a jacuzzi on site however this can only be used by guests who pay for massage treatments. Guests at the hotel can use it at an additional charge of KES 1,000 per use. I found this to be a little ridiculous since when we passed by the jacuzzi severally it was empty most of the time and the hotel should consider letting hotel guests booked in for more than say 5 nights at the hotel use it at scheduled times to avoid overcrowding for the guests who have booked massages.

The location is perfect with direct access to the beach (if you're willing to pass all the vendors trying to sell stuff or services). There are several pools to enjoy a lazy moment and the service is great. With 3 restaurants at the hotel, there is enough options for dinner and if that isn't enough it's always possible to arrange a driver and car from the hotel to go places. The location is great as it's not far from town for a visit to Fort Jesus. Or a little more north, to the Jumbo ruins (with Monsoon restaurant recommended)

The room wasn't clean when we arrived, but after a call to housekeeping they did send someone to clean the floor. Some features might need some upgrading in the room. And the doorslamming from the other guests was quite audible. That would of course depend on the other guests close to the room, but it's also possible to put some things on the doors to limit the noise.

Excellent Food and the staff are fantastic - They are so helpful and enthusiastic. Rooms are very comfortable and had superb views. We booked all inclusive but any package will suit. 6 pools to choose from and right on the beach. Good spa - reasonable prices. Good security as well

Air con in our room did not work properly. The hotel maintenance team had 4-5 goes at repairing and did supply a fan. The temperature never went below 27C in the room - even in the night. But the heatwave in Mombasa was intense at 34C. Only other slightly negative feedback would be the All Inclusive cocktails drink list is a bit limited - It could do with an update, especially the cocktails.

The hotel is located right on the beach and we loved walking on it after our meals. Our room was well located and we appreciated that the air conditioning cooled us during the very hot weather. The buffet was excellent every time with a wide range of choices. Brettah made sure the omelettes were perfect every morning, Shirley made sure we got some papaya when we really needed them. I appreciate what both of them did to make ous stay special.

The breakfast had a wide variety, tasty food, the fruits and juices were great, the egg station were professional. The beds and pillows are comfortable, spacious room, bathroom and balcony. The pool size and number with the hovering palm trees was a beautiful site. The security made sure they tracked your exit and entrance to the hotel when u go for a walk by the beach which was comforting. The beach has a long stretch of more than 10 kilometers, lovely for morning and sunset walks. The French fries served by the pool are exceptional, the pool menu in general was delicious.

Friendly animation team, they need to do more work at entertaining the guests, there weren't much activities to do at the hotel, it was too quiet. The beach and sand had too much seaweed, if you're thinking of swimming in the ocean this whole beach location isn't the one (maybe visit Diani beach). More entertainment and music by the pool bar would be good, it's too quiet and empty.

The hotel offers a diverse array of activities. We sincerely appreciate the prompt resolution of any issues by the room service team, as well as their cheerful feedback. The availability of child-friendly rooms and playground activities is highly valued and greatly appreciated.

Areas that could be enhanced are introducing a steam option in the spa zone, improving cleanliness protocols for the swimming pools, and updating the beverage menu. For instance, we were disappointed with the quality of the Aperol Spritz, and the absence of sparkling wine and local craft beers. Additionally, adjustments are necessary for noisy air-conditioning units and the inconsistent internet connection throughout the hotel. The upkeep of the green grass area has been neglected due to insufficient watering. Furthermore, there is a need for improved cleaning of the adjoining beach area, as its current state with litter is not in line with our expectations for maintaining the selected name of "Sarova White Sands".
