very nice rooms, beautiful reception area, dining and convenience store, claw grab machines a spa and a gym all inside the premises. metro is a block away, shopping center with multiple restaurants and some fast food options (mcdonald’s, subway, pizza hut, yangs dumplings) also within walking distance. there’s also a costco across the street. breakfast was phenomenal. wish i had stayed here longer, definitely worth it.

The service is exceptional. The staff make sure the stay was comfortable, having group chat via wechat that allow pre order of various stuff. My own experience is that the bucket for foot soaking was already in my room before I reach the hotel after a long day in Disney. Not to forget the free shuttle to n fro Disney as well as to airport. Everything was great. The breakfast buffet selection was superb as well.

1. Was trying to ask for a contact number of the shuttle bus driver on booking.com chat, no response. It's ok to tell me you don't provide driver's contact information, but not ok to not respond. 2. Was trying to reschedule shuttle bus through booking.com chat, there's simply no response. It's ok to respond and say it's not possible, or sorry we didn't see it in time, but not ok to ignore. 3. We arrived past 3pm, and room was not ready. We had to wait in the lobby for at least 30 minutes. 4. Crib requested and approved upon booking, but no crib set up. Had to follow up with front desk 3 time, before someone puts a crib in our room. You can tell how frustrating the check-in process was for us, with an exhausted toddler after a long travel.

Good location for Disneyland ❤️ and there's a shuttle bus send us and fetch us everyday to/from Disneyland. And the hotel driver, hotel staffs, will update us everything via weChat group chat. Definitely will back to Novotel again when we go to Shanghai Disneyland ❤️ highly recommended for those travel with kids 😍

The hotel is located near the airport (about a 30-minute drive) and about an hour’s drive from the city center. There are convenience stores and restaurants nearby. The room was clean, and I especially liked the hairdryer — it was powerful but not too hot, which dried my hair quickly without damaging it. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. Although few of them spoke English, they had a language translation system, so it didn’t affect the level of support they provided. The hotel is close to Disneyland, so many families with young children stay here. I would definitely return to this hotel if I visit Shanghai again.

1. The hotel staff was incredibly helpful and friendly! We wanted to order Meituan but we did not have a China phone number and bank. So, the hotel staff helped us to order the food we wanted. 2. The hotel also provides free return shuttle bus service to Disneyland and the airport, which I find to be really convenient! 3. The rooms are comfortable! I had a relaxing stay and I felt energized after every night of sleep. 4. The shower pressure was amazing.

Honestly, there were nothing that we did not like about the property. The hotel helped us to take care of everything, including the travel from airport to the hotel, and our return journey to Disneyland. It was amazing!

We were so lucky to be able to stay here for 2 nights. Before arriving the staff were super helpful organizing a shuttle from the airport, and upon arrival the staff were super welcoming and check-in was easy. The rooms had plenty of space with comfy beds & the bathroom was also a great size. The buffet breakfast had an amazing & delicious selection & both dinners we had at the restaurant were fabulous &.good value for money. We also had a spa treatment which was amazing, and the free shuttle provided to Disneyland was much appreciated. This was the perfect place to stay & recover a bit after a few busy weeks tripping around. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

The location of the hotel was fantastic. We didn't stay on site, but this was only 1 stop down on the metro and the price was very cheap. There is a Costco about 100metres up the road and this was very convenient and they also had to small shops just outside the hotel and they were very handy. We booked 2 hotel rooms (4 adults travelling) and they gave us a family suite that had 2 rooms within 1 family unit. It was on a corner so it gave us lots of extra space which was really valuable when we had to stay in the hotel for the day due to a typhoon that happened while we was in Shanghai. I would highly recommend this hotel, the staff couldn't do enough for you and helped in anyway they could. They even helped me sort out the washing machines which we really appreciated. Fab hotel and would definitely stay again.

The hotel is booked mainly by people going to Disneyland, however we took it to go to the center of the city during the day and to come back for night. Free shuttle bus from airport and to the Bund was very comfortable solution. To come back we had to take metro what took some time but it was very easy. The hotel itself is very modern. Two shops are just in front of the entrance to the hotel.

Difficult to communicate in English. Have translator in your phone, then no problem at all.

Excellently located hotel with great amenities, perfectly located for Disney and not even too far to visit shanghai itself. Process was very reasonable.

Pool was weird and seemed to be run independently of hotel. A man who spoke no English told us that we must wear a swimming cap to swim. We could have bought one, but we didn't. Gym was not particularly well appointed and didn't seem all that welcoming.
